Sebbene l'attuale ritorno in voga dei dettagli ornamentali abbia provocato un'ondata di eccitazione tra la Gen-Z, che vede nei fiocchi e nei ricami un simbolo di nostalgia e di desiderio di giovinezza, in realtà con internet e i social media, la giovinezza ha un aspetto molto diverso rispetto al passato. 

Quando cresciamo e facciamo le nostre scelte, ci sentiamo più forti e ad un certo punto sentiamo il bisogno di entrare nuovamente in contatto con la nostra bambina interiore, anche attraverso ciò che era di moda quando eravamo bambine.

With the internet and social media, girlhood looks very different than it did before.

 It's empowering when we grow up and make our own choices to find ourselves and get back in  touch with that inner child through what was fashionable when we were children. 

Whether it’s thoughtfully tied onto the end of a braid or worn in place of a necklace, donning a neatly tied bow is a subtle way of communicating girl code.
