LE TRASPARENZE SONO LA NUOVA OSSESSIONE MODA DEL 2021

Ci sono alcune tendenze che credo sinceramente vivano solo per Instagram: non c'è nessuna possibilità infatti di trovare certi look, che so, al supermercato. 

Tuttavia a volte, con il tempo, può succedere che in qualche modo ci desensibilizziamo ad alcune delle idee più radicali della moda e quelle che inizialmente ci sembravano assurdità, improvvisamente emergono più e più volte sui nostri feed con un aspetto man mano sempre più assolutamente fattibile.

Una di queste tendenze che ha dilagato fin dalla primavera 2021 riguarda i capi d’abbigliamento più o meno trasparenti. 

Una volta caratteristica esclusiva delle celebrità che cercavano di stupire sui red carpet, nel giro di pochi mesi abbiamo visto decollare tra le tendenze estive top trasparenti, vestiti di tulle frou-frou (che ancora occhieggiano nei negozi più trendy) e persino le maglie peekaboo stanno tuttora avendo il loro momento di gloria. 

Questa tendenza, sebbene popolare sui social media, ha le sue radici sulle passerelle: per la primavera/estate 2021, infatti, molti designer hanno sentito il bisogno di liberarsi degli strati e del pudore invernali per sfoggiare più pelle possibile. 

E, proseguendo su queste linea, con un tocco di leggerezza, marchi come Jil Sander, Dior e ACNE Studios hanno impiegato chiffon, tulle e organza morbidi e trasparenti nelle loro collezioni della nuova stagione. 

Quello di quest'anno tuttavia è un modo meno sfacciato e più stravagante e giocoso di indossare la tendenza, anche se la nuova stagione sembra aperta praticamente a qualsiasi interpretazione, quindi ognuno potrà senz’altro trovare il modo di indossarlo che fa più per sé.

There are some trends that I genuinely believe are for Instagram's eyes only—there's no way you'd find certain looks down at grocery. 

But over time something funny can happen where we can become desensitised to some of fashion's more radical ideas and no more so than when they crop up time and again on your feed looking totally and utterly doable IRL. 

One such trend for the 2021? See-through clothes. 

Once the garms of celebrities looking to drop jaws on the red carpet now we're seeing sheer mesh tops take off like crazy, big frou-frou tulle dresses filtering into high street stores and even peekaboo chainmail have a moment in the spotlight.

The trend, although popular on social media, does have its roots in the runway: in fact, for spring/summer 2021 many designers felt the need to shed layers and modesty for the warmer (perhaps more liberated?) months ahead. 

Then, there was a lightness of touch when it came to brands such as Jil Sander, Dior and ACNE Studios employing soft, see-through chiffons, tulles and organzas even in their fall/winter collections. 

But this is less all-out sass and more whimsical and playful, but any given trend is up for interpretation so you may well find you want to take the concept to the maximum.
