OOTD: The Look-Good, Feel-Good End-of-Summer Clothes to Shopping Right Now

Quest'estate, i nostri guardaroba hanno sicuramente visto più pantaloncini e magliette che vestiti eleganti. 

E tutto sommato abbiamo imparato ad apprezzare un approccio più rilassato e disinvolto alla moda, che ci ha anche insegnato a essere un pò più attenti all'acquisto di articoli di cui abbiamo veramente bisogno. 

Ora, mentre andiamo a concludere con i nostri acquisti estivi e non vediamo l'ora di esplorare le tendenze autunnali che potremo inserire nei nostri look di questa questa “nuova normalità”, di base il focus rimane su capi che siano comodi, versatili e magari abbiano una certa durata. 

In altre parole, sembra proprio che attualmente l’attenzione vada rivolgendosi sempre più verso capi che dovrebbero renderci felici di indossarli e mostrarli al mondo ogni volta che possiamo, semplicemente perché sono speciali per noi.

Anche se è solo perché crediamo nella scritta su una maglietta o perché l'aspetto di una borsa ci fa sognare le vacanze a cui quest’anno abbiamo dovuto rinunciare… insomma, deve esserci qualcosa che stimoli la fantasia in questi must have di fine stagione.
Vediamo allora quali sono i più in del momento.

• Camicia in lino a righe
• I tessuti leggeri aiutano sicuramente a entrare nell'atmosfera estiva, quindi come non amare una delicata versione a righe della classica camicia in lino per godersi gli ultimi giorni di sole?
• Pigiama Short Set
• Da quando abbiamo visto Gigi Hadid indossare il completino-pigiama, pare sia rimasto impresso nel nostro cervello. Ma per il cambio di stagione provate una stampa divertente, più in linea con il periodo, come una stampa a scacchi o una fantasia in verde neon
• Set sportivo
• passando comunque molto tempo in casa (magari anche facendo yoga), l’imperativo rimane quello di cercare di stare comode pur avendo un look alla moda. Ed i set sportivi sono perfetti per questo scopo: assicurano la massima quantità di stile in tutta comodità.
• Costume intero
• Un costume intero ben fatto è il perfetto costume da bagno di fine estate.
• T-shirt basic in cotone stampata
• Una maglietta stampata divertente è una maglietta da avere assolutamente soprattutto per una buona ragione: ti rende felice già da sola (e sta bene con cut-off, pantaloni della tuta e persino una gonna, basta giocare di fantasia).
• Slingback
• Non pensate che i sandali e le zeppe siano le uniche calzature adatte prima di passare agli stivali. Le slingback sono la scarpa perfetta per la mezza stagione: un tocco di denim ci fa pensare all'autunno, mentre le righe fanno ancora (per un pò) estate.

This summer, our wardrobes have certainly seen more sweat shorts and tees and fewer going-out dresses. But we've actually enjoyed a more relaxed, effortless approach to dressing up, and it's certainly taught us to be a bit more mindful about purchasing items we really need. Now, as we wrap up our summer shopping and look forward to fall trends that can be easily incorporated into our work-from-home style, we're browsing for things that are versatile and have a long shelf life. 

In other words, we'll be excited to take them out and show them to the world once we're able to, simply because these looks feel special to us.

Even if it's just because we stand by the slogan on a shirt or because the look of the tote bag has inspired us to dream of our "someday" holidays ahead, there's a mood-boosting quality to these late summer must haves that can't be denied.
