Balze: la Tendenza Dominante del 2020

L'elemento delle balze su un capo aggiunge un dettaglio femminile con il quale anche il più banale dei vestiti può trasformasi in un pezzo alla moda.

Questo taglio funziona bene in color blocking così come con le stampe: è adatta a tutto, dal quadrettato gingham alla stampa animalier.

Per quanto riguarda la lunghezza dell'orlo, sono i midi e i maxi quelli che attualmente vanno di più con questo stile: in fondo maggiore lunghezza significa più spazio a disposizione per le balze. 
Il più grande vantaggio di questa tendenza? dato che pare che proprio tutte (bè più o meno...) amino questo stile, non saremo costrette a svuotare il conto in banca per sperimentarlo.

Dal momento che abbiamo già discusso dei possibili errori, proviamo ora a vedere cosa invece si adatta meglio a gonne ed abiti a balze.

• Se volete apparire visibilmente più alte, allora indossate lo stesso colore e tessuto su tutto il look senza cintura. La cinta infatti tende ad accorciare la figura, Oppure potete optare direttamente per un abito monocromatico che funziona già perfettamente da solo.
•  Se invece preferite dividere la silhouette (anche se questo vi renderebbe più basse), allora basterà scegliere un colore diverso per la parte superiore dell’ensamble. Il tessuto può anche rimanere lo stesso della gonna, ma in linea generale io li sceglierei diversi in modo da vivacizzare il look. Per esempio, una maglietta di cotone su una gonna di tulle o una blusa di seta su una gonna a fiori fanno subito la loro figura e rendono il look statement.

The shape works just as well in block colour as it does in print – everything from gingham to animal print is catered to. 
When it comes to hem length, it’s the midi and maxi that work best with this style of dress – the longer the length, the more tier time you get. 
The biggest get? The entire high street is loving this style, so it won’t break the bank. 

Since we already discussed all possible mistakes, let’s try to check what would perfectly suit your layered skirts.

• if you would like to look visibly taller, then you should wear the same color and texture as your skirt without a belt. Any belt would make you shorter. The Tiered dress without a belt would work perfectly in that case.
• If you would need  divide your silhouette (this would make you shorter visibly), then you need to select a different color for the upper part. the texture might be the same as a skirt, but for all other cases I would choose different texture/textiles for skirts and tops. Say, cotton tee against to tulle skirt, or silky bold blouse against the semitransparent floral skirt.
