Anche se il termine “preso in prestito dal guardaroba dei ragazzi” suona così passè nel 2020, l’abbigliamento maschile è comunque qualcosa che tende a rimanere costante, in modo più o meno sottile, nella moda, ed in questa stagione si è espresso soprattutto tramite il gilet. 

Che sia incluso come parte di un abito a tre pezzi come nei competi di Burberry ed Etro, o che sia messo a contrasto con la giacca come nelle collezioni di Louis Vuitton, c'è sempre qualcosa di elegante e attraente - per non parlare di quanto sia infinitamente lusinghiero - nel gilet.

I gilet di questa stagione possono essere eleganti e fitted, oppure freschi e originali. Ma qualunque stile scegliate, sappiate che porterà innegabilmente in una nuova dimensione ogni vostro look.

L'aggiunta di un bel gilet sartoriale rappresenta infatti fondamentalemtne l’upgrade della primavera 2020 che dà nuova vita alle tendenze stagionali ricorrenti. 

Abbiamo anche visto questi capi affermarsi come tendenza da soli (quindi assicuratevi di tenerli d'occhio), ma è stato soprattutto nel completo a tre pezzi che si è distinto maggiormente nelle collezioni di questa e della prossima stagione.
Insomma, investire in almeno un gilet quest’anno si rivelerà più vantaggioso per il guardaroba di quanto si possa immaginare.
Ora, so che questo è un capo che può lasciare spiazzati e riportare alla mente flashback degli anni '00, ma in realtà il gilet sta tornando in una chiave tutta nuova, grazie soprattutto al ritrovato interesse del fashion system per la sartorialità. 

Molti designer tra cui Max Mara, Louis Vuitton e Gucci li hanno proposti come parte di un abito a tre pezzi, come già detto, mentre altri, come Hedi Slimane per Celine, hanno cercato l’ispirazione per uno stile più cool dal sempreverde look bohemienne, proponendo gilet sbottonati su bluse morbide.

While the term borrowed from the boys is so passe in 2020, the  men's clothing allure is something that tends to stay still in fashion, in a more or less subtle way, and this season has been exploited especially through the vest. 

Whether included as part of a three-piece suit at Burberry and Etro, or mismatched with a jacket at Louis Vuitton, there’s something quite dapper and appealing—not to mention endlessly flattering—about the almighty waistcoat.

Vests can be dapper and streamlined, or fresh and funky. But no what style you choose on any given day, know that they will add greater dimensions to your look
The addition of a tailored waistcoat is the spring 2020 update we were looking for amid the recurring suiting trend. 

We also saw these tailored vests make a strong name for themselves as an individual trend (so be sure to keep an eye out for them), but it was the three-piece suit that stood out the most.

Investing in at least one vest will prove to be more beneficial to your spring wardrobe than you might think.
Now this is an item that may terrify many and bring back '00s flashbacks. But really the vest is coming back in a whole new key, thanks above all to the new interest of the fashion system for tailoring.
