TENDENZE PRIMAVERA 2019: LO STILE FROU FROU

Niente dice “romanticismo primaverile" come balze, trasparenze, ruches e tutte quelle cose frou-frou che richiamano alla mente petali e fiori delicati. 

Le passerelle di questa stagione sono state tutte piene di dettagli ultra-femminili, e molte collezioni come quelle di Emilia Wickstead, Chloé e Gucci hanno abbracciato un mood estremamente delicato e femminile.
La chiave per indossare questa tendenza senza sembrare un millefoglie sartoriale è quella di trovare la giusta distanza tra il bello e il ridicolo. 
Insomma, a meno che non dobbiate incoraggiare apposta i fotografi di street style ad immortalare il vostro look, meglio andarci piano con gli abbinamenti o potreste ritrovarvi come bambole un po’ troppo cresciute ( e decisamente fuori luogo).
Piuttosto, potreste abbinare una blusa romantica con un paio di jeans, o seguire l'esempio di Chloé e indossarla con una mini in pelle di ispirazione western e un paio di stivaletti stringati per un look hard / soft. 
O potreste rispolverare i vostri vecchi stivali da cowboy e indossarli con un vestito frou frou. E passare alle classiche décolleté in pelle se avete in programma un evento più sofisticato.
Personalmente mi piacciono molto anche i mini gilet come quelli che hanno abbellito gli abiti meravigliosamente colorati di Giambattista Valli; un trucchetto di styling chic che attenua intelligentemente la dolcezza degli abiti con un tocco di stile più serioso. E per completare il tutto un bel paio di Mary-Janes basse aggiunge quel fascino off-beat che disimpegna l’intero look. 
Detto questo, se togliamo i gilet e i tacchi torreggianti, questi abiti sono puro fascino e sarebbero stupendi anche nelle feste estive un po’ più impegnative, o anche sulle strade di un’ elegante cittadina marittima con un paio di sandali K.Jacques.
Se invece amate la semplicità, non si batte l'eleganza di una gonna a balze delicate con una classica maglietta aderente, o di un paio di scarpe da uomo rifinite con ruche che aggiungono una scintilla di stravaganza ad un look disinvolto.

Nothing says "spring romance" like frills, sheer, ruches and all those frou-frou things that call to mind petals of wildflowers and delicate blossoms 

This season’s catwalks were all aflutter with ultra-feminine details as designers including Emilia Wickstead, Chloé and Gucci embraced a softer, more feminine mood.
The key to not looking like a sartorial mille feuille is to strike the right note between pretty and preposterous.  In short, unless you are courting street style photographers, it's better going easy with bold pairings or you could find yourself as a too grown up (and definitely out of place) doll.
Instead, you could pair a romantic frilled blouse with a pair of jeans, or follow Chloé's example and wear it with a western-inspired leather mini and a pair of lace-up ankle boots for an hard / soft ensamble. 

Or you could dust off your old cowboy boots and wear them with a softly ruffled dress. And switch for classic leather pumps if you're heading to a dressier event.
I also like the little vests like those that topped the gloriously frilly dresses at Giambattista Valli; a a chic styling device that intelligently toned down the sweetness with a dose of serious flair. 

And to top it all off a nice pair of flat Mary-Janes add that off-beat appeal that disengages the whole look. 

That said,minus the vests and worn with towering heels, those frocks are pure glamour and would be as gorgeous at summer’s roster of parties, or fit right in on the shores of some chic beachtown with a pair of K.Jacques sandals.
If you love simplicity, you can't beat the elegance of a skirt with delicate flounces with a classic tight-fitting T-shirt, or a pair of statement shoes trimmed with outlandish frills to add a spark to pared-back looks.
