 LA TENDENZA TOP DEL 2024: I CAPI METALLICI

La tendenza top del 2024? Non degli abiti specifici, ma una certa attitudine, o meglio, un certo tipo di look, per essere precisi. 

Da Giorgio Armani, le modelle hanno sfoggiato un clutch metalliche; da Ann Demeulemeester, avevano top che sembravano armature. 

Dalla modella che si stringe nel cappotto lucido da The Row, alle ragazze illuminate dal bagliore degli iPhone stretti nelle mani da Courrèges, fino alla donna che tiene il suo abito di seta liquida color avorio intorno alle spalle come se fosse appena uscita dalla doccia da Loewe, il metallo liquido si è visto ovunque nelle ultime stagioni.

E questi tocchi luminosi sembrano in perfetta in sintonia con il mood più importante della stagione: abiti sobri e quotidiani, ma realizzati con i migliori tessuti della categoria. 

Sulle passerelle di Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu e Loewe hanno sfilato abiti che è facile immaginare di indossare prima di uscire per affrontare la giornata. 

E se state storcendo il naso di fronte ai meriti di abiti che si possono indossare davvero, ricordate che la differenza sta tutta nei dettagli che li hanno elevati da banali a degni di una rivista patinata: un paio di calzini in uno scintillante color pesca da Bottega Veneta, per esempio, o una catena attaccata dall'orlo di una camicia bianca oversize fino alla spalla da Loewe, sono in grado di dare alla silhouette più comune un twist moderno ed artistico.

The 2024 biggest trend? Not clothes, but a pose – or a glimpse, to be precise. 

At Giorgio Armani, the models glimped powder compacts; at Ann Demeulemeester, they clutched their breasts. 

From the model clasping her shiny crimson edge-to-edge coat at The Row, to the girls illuminated by the glow of the iPhones clamped in their palms at Courrèges, to the woman grasping her ivory liquid-silk dress round her shoulders like she’d just stepped out the shower at Loewe, the liquid metal was everywhere.

Those shiny touches chimed with the season’s biggest look: pared-back, everyday clothes, executed in best-in-class fabrics. 

The runways at Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu and Loewe were all filled with outfits one could easily imagine throwing on before heading out to take on the day. 

And if you’re rolling your eyes at a publication extolling the merits of clothes you can actually wear, the difference came in the details that elevated them from mundane to magazine-worthy: a pair of socks bright peachy-soft  at Bottega Veneta, say, or a chain attaching the hem of an oversized white shirt to a shoulder at Loewe, lending its silhouette an artful ripple.
