Il tartan è trendy: a confermarlo le recenti sfilate, che lo hanno visto protagonista su praticamente tuttele passerelle. 

Ma il tradizionale motivo scozzese abbandona (solo momentaneamente) il kilt per apparire su giacche strutturate, top bustier, completi eccentrici, cappotti particolari e splendide gonne.

Insomma, i look invernali vengono quasi tutti arricchiti da questa fantasia chic, che ci riporta indietro di centinaia di anni sulle colline della Scozia. 

Insomma, la cultura delle Highland arriva fino allo stile street, come successe già negli anni ‘70 con la moda punk, ed oggi viene indossato in tantissime occasioni (persino al proprio matrimonio, vedi il look di Kate Moss).

Tartan is trendy: this was confirmed by the fashion shows, which saw it taking center stage on the runways. 

The traditional Scottish pattern abandons (only momentarily) the kilts to appear on structured jackets, but also on bustier tops, eccentric suits, tailored coats and gorgeous skirts.

In short, winter looks are enhanced by this chic pattern, taking us back of hundreds of years to the hills of Scotland. 

The Highlands culture reaches all the way to street style, as happened back in the 1970s with punk fashion. 

Today it is worn on so many occasions (even at weddings- see the Kate Moss's look).
