Le Tendenze Stampe che Definiranno La Moda Primavera 2023

La primavera può evocare fantasie di destinazioni lontane dove potersi perdere in campi di fiori, ma la realtà ci ricorda che dobbiamo (purtroppo) lavorare. 

O almeno, questo è ciò che si può dedurre scorrendo le passerelle della primavera/estate 2023, nelle quali molte collezioni erano caratterizzate da capi adatti all'ufficio, con un'indicazione ancora più visibile dell'impatto della cultura del lavoro sulla moda: le gessature.

La differenza principale tra le stagioni sembra essere il fatto che questa stampa,pur essendo molto adatta al lavoro, ha elementi che la fanno anch molto off-duty. 

Per esempio, Monse ha preso il classico tailleur con gonna gessata e ha aggiunto lacci da corsetto sul davanti per ravvivarlo. 

Da Dior, abbiamo visto pantaloni gessati beige a vita bassa abbinati a un corsetto.

Se c'è una cosa che è emersa chiaramente dalle collezioni primavera/estate 2023, è che gli stilisti non hanno paura di scavare negli archivi per trarre ispirazione dai tessuti. 

Un movimento storico che si è visto chiaramente sulle passerelle, inoltre, è stato il Rinascimento.

Sulle passerelle della primavera/estate 2023 abbiamo visto le stampe barocche rivivere in vari modi.

Per esempio, in abiti drappeggiati off-the-shoulder resi più serio dall'aggiunta di una stampa grafica in bianco e nero che raffigurava la forma umana.

Molti look, dagli abiti drappeggiati ai blazer con corsetto abbinati a pantaloni cargo, presentavano stampe che rivaleggiavano con il soffitto della Cappella Sistina. 

Non si sa ancora cosa sarà, ma è certo che questi motivi possono convincere anche le persone più contrarie che la stampa giusta può essere arte.

Spring may conjure fantasies of far-off destinations where one can frolic in fields of flowers, but reality reminds us we have to work. 

Or at least, that's what one could deduce after scrolling through the spring/summer 2023 runways. While designers' collections across the board featured work-friendly staples, there was an even more visible indication of the impact of hustle culture—pinstripes.

The main difference over the seasons seems to be how this work-friendly print has elements that feel very off-duty. 

For instance, Monse took the classic pinstripe skirt suit and added corset laces to the front to spice it up. At Dior, we saw low-slung beige pinstripe trousers styled with a matching corset.

If one thing was made clear with spring/summer 2023 collections, it's that designers aren't afraid to delve into the archives for textile inspiration. 

And another movement you could see clearly on the runways was the Renaissance era.

We saw baroque prints given a new life on the spring/summer 2023 runways in various ways. 

For example, a draped off-the-shoulder dress was given more depth with the addition of a graphic black-and-white print that depicted the human form. 

At Roberto Cavalli, a full-length sky-blue satin gown mimicked the sky and described a lifelike bird. 

Multiple looks—from draped gowns to corseted blazers styled with matching cargo pants—featured prints that rivaled the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. 

What that will be is still yet to be determined, but it's safe to say these motifs can do something as simple as convincing even the most anti-print people that the right print can be art.
