Per evitare di dare l'impressione di aver fatto acquisti nel reparto bambini, ecco alcuni suggerimenti rapidi su come abbinare le ruches con capi già presenti nel guardaroba:

• Denim: un semplice paio di jeans indossato con un top con le ruches è il modo perfetto per portare il divertimento e la femminilità di questo dettaglio con la massima semplicità.
• In alto o in basso: scegliete l'uno o l'altro
• Colori più scuri – quando pensiamo ai vestiti da bambina generalmente ci vengono in mente colori come il rosa, l'azzurro baby, il limone. Per un look più sofisticato, optate quindi per capi con le ruches in colori come nero, blu navy o il beige.
• Motivi: un volant in un tessuto stampato può effettivamente risultare meno appariscente di uno in tinta unita perché il motivo tende a confondere un pò l'occhio. Quindi, se volete che le vostre ruches siano meno evidenti, sceglietele in una fantasia.

Scegliere se indossare o meno ruches e volant in questa stagione non ha nulla a che fare con l'età, la forma o la taglia. Possiamo indossarle tutte! 

Come sempre, si tratta più che altro di scegliere una ruches che lusinghi la propria silhouette, che esalti i punti migliori e rifletta il proprio stile personale.

In ogni caso non vale la pena impazzire spendendo troppo in questa tendenza.

To avoid looking like you’ve been shopping in the children’s department, here are some quick tips for how to team ruffles with existing pieces in the wardrobe:

• Denim – a simple pair of jeans worn with some ruffles up top is the perfect way to ‘pair down’ the fun and girliness.
• Up top or down below – choose one or the other
• Darker colours – when we think of girl’s clothes we often think of colours like pink, baby blue, lemon. For a more sophisticated look, opt for ruffles in colours like black, navy and beige.
• Patterns – a ruffle in a printed fabric can actually look less ruffle-y than a block colour because the pattern blends. So if you want your ruffles to be more subdued, choose a pattern.

Choosing whether or not to wear ruffles this season has nothing to do with age, shape or size. 

You can all wear them! 

As always, it’s more about choosing a ruffle that flatters your shape, that enhances your best bits and reflects your personal style.

Don’t go crazy spending too much money on the ruffle trend either. 

One or two key pieces to inject some fun into your wardrobe is really all you need, and there are plenty of affordable options available.
