Non è un segreto che le tendenze della moda degli anni '90 e dei primi anni 2000 stiano vivendo un momento di gloria come mai prima d'ora, ma questo non è l'unico periodo che spinge per una rinascita. 

Tra tutti i mom jeans, gli abiti esagerati, i jeans stampati e i pantaloni eleganti neri, le fashioniste stanno facendo spazio nei loro guardaroba anche per l'iconica moda degli anni '80. 

Parte dell'attrazione, quando si è trattato del ritorno degli anni '90 e dell'abbigliamento dei primi anni 2000 è che tutte queste tendenze giocavano sulla nostalgia. 

Con i nostri bei ricordi di cappelli a secchiello e (ehm) moda a vita bassa, semplicemente non abbiamo potuto resistere e, naturalmente, gli anni '80 fanno più o meno lo stesso discorso. 

Anche se non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di vivere il decennio in tempo reale, vorrete sicuramente anche voi partecipare al secondo round, no?

Gli elementi chiave della moda degli anni '80 includono colore, giocosità e comfort: tutte  cose che amiamo in questo momento. 

Pensateci: gli anni '80 ci hanno portato calze a rete e scaldamuscoli, colori elettrici e l'abito nudo, ci hanno fatto indossare leggings come pantaloni e inserito spalline in qualsiasi blazer e camicetta che lo rendesse possibile. 

Inoltre, non sono stati solo i capi a diventare storici: le donne che hanno fatto propri questi look sono le stesse a cui ci ispiriamo oggi. 

Gli anni '80 ci hanno regalato l'abito da vendetta della principessa Diana e gli inconfondibili dolcevita-sotto-i-maglioni, così come i corsetti e i gioielli ed il tulle a strati di Madonna. 

Demi Moore e Molly Ringwald sfidavano le norme dell’abbigliamento di genere, mentre Lisa Bonet pubblicizzava uno stile cool ed eclettico 

Se scavate abbastanza in profondità, c'è un'estetica anni '80 per ogni preferenza di stile. 

Quindi, ecco le tendenze degli anni '80 che vedremo nei prossimi mesi e, soprattutto, come indossare questi look nel 2023.

• Glam Rock
• Gli anni '80 sono stati un decennio vibrante e affascinante, soprattutto all'interno dell'industria musicale. Per ricreare completamente quell'iconica estetica glam-rock, sono necessarie scarpe con plateau, capi metallic, tessuti in pelle e molti dettagli luccicanti. Per portarlo al livello successivo, inseriteci pizzo, cinture appariscenti, guanti, tute da lavoro e blazer oversize squadrati. Dimenticate “less is more”: con gli anni '80, “more is more” e cercare di fare una dichiarazione di stile è sempre la strada da percorrere.
• Paillettes
• Per una notte fuori tra ragazze o l'happy hour (o semplicemente perché vi va), la tendenza degli anni '80 verso cui cui gravitare sarebbe una minigonna decorata con paillettes. Abbinatela a décolleté a punta dai colori vivaci, una camicia bianca fluida infilata nella cintura e grossi gioielli dorati per un tocco di glam in più.
• Blazer oversize con spalline
• Sono troppo belli per andare avanti. Se state cercando qualcosa di oversize ma volete una struttura più ridotta, provate il look con una cintura. L'aggiunta di una cinta farà infatti in modo che la forma del corpo sia in prima linea nel look !
• Body
• Consiglierei di passare da un top a un body quando indossate un look in cui non volete “gonfiarvi” troppo, come con una classica button-down, o quando volete scoprire le spalle. Avere il supporto extra assicura che il look rimanga ordinato ed al suo posto. Provate ad abbinare un body con pantaloni a gamba larga o anche una gonna fluida. It's no secret fashion trends from the 1990s and early 2000s are having a moment like never before, but the alternative era isn't the only time period pushing for a renaissance. 

Amidst all the mom jeans and exaggerated flares, skort outfits, printed denim, and black dress pants, fashionistas are also making room in their wardrobes for iconic '80s fashion. 

Naturally, everybody’s on the edge of the seats (re: glued to the phones) waiting to see which totally rad throwback threads fully come back around.

Part of the draw when it came to the return of '90s and early aughts clothing is that these trends all played into nostalgia. 

With our own fond memories of bucket hats and, um, butt fashion, we simply couldn't resist — and, naturally, the 1980s offers more of the same. 

Even if you didn't get a chance to live out the decade in real-time, you'll definitely want to get in on round two. 

Key elements of '80s fashion include color, playfulness, and comfort — all the things we're loving at the moment.

Just think about it: the '80s brought us fishnets and legwarmers, served up electric colorways and the naked dress, made a case for leggings-as-pants, and inserted shoulder pads into any blazer and blouse that designers would allow. 

Plus, it wasn't just the clothing that became historic: the women who made these looks their own are the same ones we draw inspiration from today. 

The '80s gave us Princess Diana's revenge dress and signature turtlenecks-under-sweaters moments, as well as Madonna's corsets and tulle and layered jewelry.

If you dig deep enough, there's an '80s aesthetic for every style preference. So here are the '80s trends we'll especially be seeing more of in the next few months — and, most importantly, how to wear these looks in 2023.

• Glam Rocker
• The '80s was a vibrant and glamorous decade, especially within the music industry. To fully recreate that iconic glam-rock aesthetic, you need platform shoes, metallic staples, leather fabrics, and lots of glittery accents are key. To take it to the next level, incorporate lace, statement belts, gloves, power suits, and oversized boxy blazers, forget less is more — with the '80s, more is definitely more, and making a statement is always the way to go.
• Sequins
• For girls night out or happy hour (or just because), the '80s trend to gravitate towards would be a mini skirt decked out in sequins. Pair with bold colored pointed toe pumps, a tucked-in, flowy white button-up, and chunky gold jewelry for an extra touch of glam.
• Oversized Blazers with Shoulder Pads
• "They're too good to move on from. If you are reaching for something oversized and you are sporting a smaller frame, give the look a try with a defined waistline. Adding a belt will ensure your shape is at the forefront of your look!
• Bodysuits
• I would recommend going from a top to a bodysuit when sporting a look where you don't want to bulge while tucking it in — such as a classic button-down — or when you're baring your shoulders. Having the extra support ensures your look stays intact. Try pairing your bodysuit with wide-leg trousers or even a flowy skirt. The tightness of the bodysuit will help balance out your look.
