THE 90S MINIMALISM IS BACK FOR FALL 2022

La tendenza anni '90 ha resistito per un'altra stagione. 

Ahluwalia, Etro e Gauchere e molti altri desigher hanno proposto per queta e la prssima stagione capi a vita bassa incredibilmente nostalgici, che prevedibilmente saranno un grande successo tra il pubblico. 

Ma questo "lusso discreto” è stato visto anche da Bottega Veneta (sotto la nuova gestione di Matthieu Blazy) e The Row e che ha fornito l'estetica oppositiva a tutti i look rumorosi presentati sulle altre passerelle. 

La differenza con questa versione negli anni '90 rispetto alle rievocazioni precedenti sta tutta nell’esaltazione dell'aspetto più essenziale dei look dell'epoca. 

Pensate al set OG di Helmut Lang, Ann Demeulemeester e Jil Sander e sarete sulla strada giusta. 

Sono tutte gonne semplici, gilet anche più semplici, semplici pantaloni e non un filo di trucco. Considerando poi che sono una parte fondamentale del lessico degli anni '90, le maxi gonne non hanno sorpreso quando sono apparse per la nuova stagione. 

La tendenza che vede un maxi dal taglio più sottile (spesso a tubo) era, in realtà, già partita all'inizio di quest'anno e sembra che continuerà anche nei mesi più freddi. 

I nuovi tagli delle gonne, che prevedono silhouette lunghe e snelle, sono l'evoluzione ( anche piuttosto prevedibile) dei micro orli di cui abbiamo visto varie iterazioni nelle ultime due stagioni. 

I momenti più salienti riguardo questo tipo di gonne sono arrivati ​​da Calvin Klein, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Saint Laurent, ACNE e Diesel. 

Ma ci sono state presentate comunque anche versioni più casual del look: prendete la combinazione di t-shirt raglan e gonna sartoriale se cercate un punto di riferimento interessante da cui partire.

The 90s trend has endured for another season. 

Ahluwalia, Etro and Gauchere showcased, for this and the next season, some incredibly nostalgic low-slung waistlines, which you can say will be a huge hit with the customers.

This "low-key luxury" could be seen at Bottega Veneta (under new stewardship with Matthieu Blazy) and The Row and that it provides the oppositional aesthetic to all of the loud looks available throughout the rest of the runways.

The difference with this take on the '90s is that it's all about pared-back looks from the era. 

Think of the OG set including Helmut Lang, Ann Demeulemeester and Jil Sander, and you're on the right track. It's all plain skirts, even plainer vests, simple low-slung trousers and not a scrap of makeup.

Considering they are a staple part of the '90s lexicon, maxi skirts did not surprise me when they appeared for the new season. 

The trend for a slimmer-cut (often tube-like) maxi started earlier this year, and it looks like the trend will continue way into the colder months.

The updated long, lean skirt silhouettes were an evolution from the micro hemlines that we've seen various iterations of for the past couple of seasons. Standout skirt moments came from Calvin Klein, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Saint Laurent, ACNE and Diesel. 

There were casual takes on the look too—see MNZ's raglan tee and tailored skirt combo for a very cool reference point.
