Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera e persino J-Lo erano grandi fan dei pantaloni a vita bassa e dei crop top nel 2000, quando le donne di tutto il mondo hanno iniziato ad appassionarsi, inspiegabilmente, a sciarpette skinny, catene per il corpo e farfalle. 

Bene, ora è tutto tornato, principalmente per gentile concessione di Dolce & Gabbana e Blumarine, che ci hanno dato una veloce lezione di storia con pantaloni a vita bassa e reggiseni a vista in abbondanza nelle loro ultime collezioni.

Etro ha optato invece per pantaloni larghi con coulisse indossati in abbinamento con un foulard portato a mò di reggiseno, mentre Tom Ford ha reso il tutto glamour aggiungendo un reggiseno a pantaloni cargo di raso verde stretti alla caviglia, e tacchi alti.

• Vita bassa
• I jeans a vita alta possono aver dominato i nostri guardaroba per oltre un decennio, ma nella primavera del 2022 le cose sono tornate ad essere molto più anni '00, nel momento stesso in cui la vita bassa è tornata alla ribalta dell’interesse sartoriale. Gira tutto intorno al mostrare l'ombelico, quindi preparatevi: non avrebbe senso optare per una vita bassa e nasconderla sotto una maglia lunga. Optate per top corti e andate di completo revival anni 2000.
• Allacciato
• I dettagli “legati” hanno guadagnato popolarità nelle ultime stagioni, ma questo è un trend destinato a prendere piede dall'estate 2022 in poi. Che si tratti di un top allacciato sulla schiena o sul décolleté o di un paio pantaloni con la cintura che si incrocia sullo stomaco - o, in effetti, entrambi – a quanto pare dovremo rinunciare a qualsiasi preoccupazione per i segni dell'abbronzatura questa stagione e prepararci ad accogliere i lacci nel nostro guardaroba.
• Top a corsetto
• Sebbene i corsetti siano di tendenza già da un po' di tempo, l'ambito top è garantito per colpire le masse e essere ovunque il prossimo anno in tutte le forme e stili. Per cominciare, il top a corsetto ha conquistato le passerelle della primavera 2022, incluse quelle di stilisti del calibro di Acne Studios, Balmain e Givenchy. Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and even J-Lo were big fans of low-rise trousers and crop tops in 2000, as women the world over added in skinny scarves, body chains and, inexplicably, butterflies.

Well, now it's all back, mainly courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana and Blumarine, which gave us a quick history lesson with low-rider trousers and bra tops galore. 

Etro went for baggy, drawstring pants worn in a scarf-as-bra arrangement, while Tom Ford made it glamorous, adding a bra top to green satin cargo pants caught at the ankle, with high heels.

• Low-slung Waists
• High-rise jeans may have dominated our wardrobes for over a decade, but come spring 2022 things get a whole lot more '00s as the low-slung waist makes its way back to the forefront of sartorial conscious. They're all about bearing the midriff, so there's no trend value in opting for a low-rise and hiding it beneath a long knit. Opt for cropped tops for full '00s drama.
• Strap It Up
• Strapped accents have been gaining popularity over recent seasons, but it's set to really take hold from summer 2022 onwards. Whether it's a top with multi-straps across the shoulders and décolletage, trousers with a strapped waistband criss-crossing across the stomach – or, indeed, both – you'll have to forgo any worries of awkward tan lines this season and embrace the straps.
• Corset Tops
• Though corsets have been trending for some time now, the coveted top is guaranteed to hit the masses and be everywhere next year in all forms and styles. For starters, the corset top took over the Spring 2022 runways, including big-name designers such as Acne Studios, Balmain, and Givenchy. The body-cinching piece can be paired casually with jeans or layered unexpectedly over a dress or under a blazer for all of your 2022 looks. Stars like Bella Hadid have already begun sporting this hero piece.
• Headscarves
• Although we have been seeing an onslaught of headscarf style during 2021, according to the Spring 2022 runways, this trend is definitely coming with us into the new year and will be bigger than ever. Different versions to keep an eye out for are classic bandanas, delicate crochet, vintage-inspired silk, and crystal-embellished scarves.
