RispondiEliminaI agree with you in the fact that this garment is not easy to pull off, but I think that even encourages people to wear it since they have to play with creativity. I have seen a lot of girls of different height, sizes and also boys wearing the crop top around Barcelona and it makes me happy to see that we are approaching fashion with more possibilities than the past generations.
I think you did a great job by adding this high waist skirt and playing with a visual contrast among the pieces. They look really good together and create an interesting balance. I think it looks very sophisticated but fresh at the same time and I bet you could also wear this crop top with another bottom pieces depending on the occassion. For example another skirt, high waist jeans or even with a formal suit ;)
In Mexico we have a quote that says "De la moda lo que te acomoda" which basically means that you have to pick the things that make you comfortable despite the trends. I like to follow that advice but also see how I can adapt the trends to my body and style. You always encourages us to play more with fashion so thank you friend!
