S/S 2022 FASHION TRENDS FROM CATWALKS: The Color Trends (Part 1)

TENDENZE MODA PRIMAVERA/ESTATE 2022 DALLE PASSERELLE: I Colori Chiave (Parte 1)

Secondo i migliori designer ci aspetta un estate 2022 soprattutto nei toni del giallo e del verde, insomma dal limone al lime. 

Basta guardare la tavolozza dei colori utlizzati nelle collezioni SS 2022 dei designer più importanti. 

Il verde lime, il giallo saturo, il classico verde Kelly e l'arancione tramonto sono tutte tonalità di tendenza straviste sulle passerelle Primavera/Estate 2022, ognuna con il suo tocco speciale. 

Christian Siriano ha abbinato un abito midi color lime con un cappello dello stesso colore; Proenza Schouler ha proposto un tailleur arancione; Jason Wu ha dimostrato che vestirsi come il sole è semplice con l'abito giallo giusto e, ultimo ma non meno importante, Yuhan Wang ha dimostrato che il verde Kelly è troppo bello per essere classificato ancora come verde "erba".

According to fashion’s top designers, we’re in for a very green/yellow lemon-lime summer 2022. 

Just look at the color palette! Lime green, saturated yellow, classic Kelly green and sunset orange are all trending hues incorporated on the Spring/Summer 2022 runways, each with its own special tang.

Christian Siriano paired a tea-length lime gown with a matching hat; Proenza Schouler a tailored orange suit out of absolutely nowhere; Jason Wu proved dressing like the sun is simple with the right yellow gown and, last but not least, Yuhan Wang proved Kelly green is far too gorgeous to be classified as “grassy” ever again.

• Ceruleo
• Balenciaga, Nina Ricci, Stella McCartney e Rokh hanno mostrato tutti una decisa preferenza per l'azzurro ceruleo nelle loro sfilate Primavera/Estate 2022.
• Giallo Sole
• Questa tendenza Primavera/Estate 2022 incarna perfettamente l'idea di un carattere solare. Nel 2021, un giallo pallido e burroso era l'opzione chic di questa tonalità, ma nel 2022 è tutto incentrato sul classico colore del sole, quasi neon. Jason Wu, Sergio Hudson e Rodarte hanno utilizzato tutti questa sfumatura in modi diversi, con Wu che ci ha abbellito con un abito senza spalle, Hudson che è rimasto fedele al suo completo impeccabile e Rodarte che invece ha alzato la posta con un abito con frange di perline. Qualunque sia il modo in cui lo indossiate, comunque, questo colore è perfetto per risollevare l’umore e far risaltare l'abbronzatura.
• Kelly Green
• È ricco! È giocoso! È audace! Ed è anche proprio carino, non credete? Il verde è diverso da qualsiasi altro colore, quindi per la prossima stagione, skippate i LBD e optate invece per qualcosa di molto più divertente. In particolare alla London Fashion Week, questa tonalità ha dominato le passerelle!
• Rosa
• Il rosa è un altro colore che si è dimostrato eterno, ma quest'anno è stato utilizzato nella sua sfumatura bubblegum più brillante. In breve, tutto ciò che starebbe bene nel guardaroba di Barbie si adatta alla moda della prossima stagione.
• Burro
• Chiamatelo ostrica, chiamalo burro, ma sicuramente non si può definirlo bianco. I toni cremosi che rasentano il giallo sono un altro look chiave delle passerelle primavera/estate 2022, offrendo anche ai minimalisti e ai fan dei look essenziali un modo per illuminare i loro guardaroba senza doversi impegnare in tonalità troppo difficili.

• Balenciaga, Nina Ricci, Stella McCartney and Rokh all showed a more cerulean blue in their Spring/Summer 2022 shows.
• Radiant Yellow
• This Spring/Summer 2022 trend perfectly embodies the idea of a sunny disposition. In 2021, a buttery, pale yellow was a chic option to opt for over cream, but in 2022 it’s all about the classic, almost-neon sunshine hue. Jason Wu, Sergio Hudson and Rodarte all showed the shade in different ways, with Wu gracing us with an off-the-shoulder gown, Hudson staying true to his impeccable suiting and Rodarte upping the ante with a beaded fringe frock. Whatever way you wear it, this color is guaranteed to brighten your mood and enhance your tan.
• Kelly Green
• It’s rich! It’s playful! It’s bold! It’s pretty, don’tcha think? Green is unlike any other color, so skip the LBDs and opt for something far more fun instead. Particularly at London Fashion Week, this shade ruled the runways!
• Pink
• Pink is another colour that has proven everlasting, but this year, it’s all about bubblegum brights. Anything that would look at home in Barbie’s wardrobe fits the bill.
• Butter
• Call it oyster, call it butter, but definitely don’t call it white. Creamy tones bordering on yellow are another key look from the spring/summer 2022 runways, offering minimalists and pared-back dressers a way to brighten their wardrobes without having to commit to standout shades in the process.

• Blu Primario
• Kelly Green è il colore del momento ma il blu reale è la tonalità satura che, vedrete, lo farà cadere dal trono nel giro di pochi mesi. Lacoste e Loewe hanno esplorato questa tonalità nelle loro collezioni Primavera/Estate 2022 e Vetements lo ha sfruttato anche per la collezione Autunno/Inverno 2022. Fate solo attenzione a quando lo abbinate al rosso e al bianco, per non creare vibes troppo all'americana.
• Lime
• Il verde salvia tenue era una delle tonalità più richieste del 2021, quindi questo vibrante verde lime ha suscita un certo entusiasmo per la Primavera/Estate 2022. I look delle sfilate di Cinq a Sept, Prabal Gurung e Christian Siriano hanno utilizzato questa sfumatura sotto forma di mini abiti in raso, gonne midi chic e abiti lunghi con copricapo abbinato. Quando volete indossare questa tonalità lasciatela stare da sola con scarpe nere o bianche che non competano con essa.
• Arancione
• Dimenticate le sfumature color crema: la tendenza colora della primavera/estate 2022 sta tutta nello scegliere l'arancione più brillante che trovate e indossarlo dalla testa ai piedi. Stilisti come Proenza Schouler, Collina Strada e Christian Siriano hanno tutti mostrato sulle loro passerelle completi arancioni monocromatici, quindi sì, potreste essere in grado di giustificare perfino un paio di tacchi arancioni. Oppure potrete prendere esempio da Proenza e aggiungere un piccolo contrasto con una borsa blu e dei classici sandali neri.
• Pervinca
• Quando Pantone rivela il colore dell'anno, potete scommettere che tutta l'industria della moda presta attenzione. E per il 2022, iI pervinca, la tonalità che Pantone ha incoronato come il colore da avere per il 2022, era ovunque sulle passerelle. • Bianco Puro
• Il bianco può davvero essere considerato una “tendenza”? Dato che ha popolato le passerelle in modo così prolifico, sì, può tranquillamente esserlo. Le modelle lo indossavano dalla testa ai piedi in abiti da sogno, camicette e gonne fluttuanti e persino completi, fungendo da perfetto antidoto alle brillanti sfumature estive.

• Kelly Green is the color of right now (more on that further down) but royal blue is the saturated hue that will knock it off its throne in a matter of months. Lacoste and Loewe explored the primary hue in their Spring/Summer 2022 collections, and Vetements went all out with it for their Fall/Winter 2022 range. Just be careful when pairing with red and white, unless you want to go full-on Americana.
• Tangy Lime
• Muted sage green was one of 2021’s most in-demand hues, so this vibrant lime green sparks some serious joy for Spring/Summer 2022. Runway looks by Cinq a Sept, Prabal Gurung and Christian Siriano featured the shade by way of satin mini dresses, pilgrim-chic midis and tea-length gowns with matching headgear. When styling this limeade shade, let it stand alone and stick with black or white footwear that doesn’t compete.
• Hot Orange
• Forget creamsicle hues—Spring/Summer 2022 is all about choosing the brightest orange you can find and wearing it from head to toe. Designers like Proenza Schouler, Collina Strada and Christian Siriano all showed monochrome orange ensembles on their runways, so yes, you may be able to justify a pair of orange heels. Or, you can take a page from Proenza’s book and add a little contrast with a blue bag and some classic black sandals for edge.
• Perwinkle
• When Pantone reveals its annual Colour of the Year, you can bet all of the fashion industry pays attention. For 2022, you’d be forgiven for thinking designers had a crystal ball in which they could peer into the future, for periwinkle—the very shade Pantone has crowned as a need-to-know hue for 2022—was all over the runways way back in September 2021. This “blurple” color is the symbol of the global zeitgeist of the moment and the transition we are going through a more digital world. Encompassing the qualities of the blues, yet at the same time possessing a violet-red undertone, PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri displays a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression.
• Pure White
• Can white really be considered a “trend”? As it populated the runway in such a prolific way, yes, it absolutely can. Models wore it from top to toe by way of dreamlike dresses, floaty blouses and skirts and even suiting, acting as the perfect antidote to the glossy shades of summer.
