TENDENZE MODA A/I 2021-22 DALLE PASSERELLE: Le Stampe

Il futuro è brillante, audace e pronto ad attirare l'attenzione.

O quanto meno questo sembrerebbe il messaggio che hanno voluto veicolare gli stilisti nelle ultime collezioni A/I.

Da Thebe Magugu a Simone Rocha, a Nicolas Ghesquière, a Louis Vuitton, in tante collezioni A/I 2021-22 sono state presentate stampe audaci e stupefacenti.

Magugu, per esempio, ha fatto riferimento al misticismo su un bellissimo tailleur elegante; Ghesquière ha dato vita ai dipinti del Louvre; e Rocha ha optato per il barocco con fiori romantici.

Insomma, a quanto pare (finalmente) questo autunno, ci libereremo dai toni grigi e neutri e porteremo un po' di vitalità nelle nostre giornate.

Animalier
Le stampe animalier sono ormai un evergreen e sono tornate diligentemente anche tra le tendenze stampa autunno/inverno 2021/22. Abbiamo visto molti designer e marchi come Roberto Cavalli, Diane Von Furstenberg, DKNY, proporre le loro versioni alla moda delle classiche stampe animalier. Il leopardo è senz’altro la più popolare ma, anche se vivete per il bianco e nero, adorerete sicuramente gli outfit zebrati presentati da Christopher Kane, Marc Jacobs e Versace.ù
Chintz
Sappiamo tutti che i fiori e la primavera/estate sono intrinsecamente legati e difficilmente innovativi (come dice la famosa battuta de Il diavolo veste Prada) ma raramente sono tanto presenti per l'autunno e l’inverno, e certamente non in questa forma che richiama uno stile romantico ed antico. Tonalità sobrie e look monocromatici si alternano ad outfit floreali con motivi che donano un'allure delicata e una sferzata di energia agli abiti da giorno e da sera. Sembra una continuazione del movimento #cottagecore del 2020, con fiori sgargianti sparsi su abiti arricciati e camicette romantiche. I toni saranno altrettanto tenui di quelli dello scorso autunno, ma l'atmosfera è leggermente meno parrocchiale e più da “maniero”, con grandi fiori resi attraverso trame che ricordano raffinati rivestimenti o le stampe Liberty.
Tartan
Un'altra fantasia di tendenza, un altro classico della stagione invernale: il tartan. Plaid e quadri sono stati visti praticamente in qualunque collezione, ma è il tocco punk che i marchi londinesi portano intrinsecamente a questo tessuto che fa la differenza. Charles Jeffrey, Vivienne Westwood e Alessandra Rich hanno suggerito proprio quel il tipo di look che riesce a cambiare un look anche solo con atteggiamento, kohl sbavato e un paio di anfibi con le zeppe.
Pied de poule
Il pied de poule è un motivo elegante e senza tempo, una trama particolare ottenuta accostando filati di colore a contrasto. Questo iconico design, sempre di moda, nelle collezioni autunno inverno 2021-2022 viene rivisitato e riproposto in varie combinazioni di colori, classiche, ma anche originali e accattivanti. Michael Kors ad es. ha proposto un abito doppiopetto con mantella nei toni del verde in fantasia Pied-de-poule; Marine Serre un lungo cappotto doppiopetto in misto lana pied de poule, nei classici toni del bianco e nero; Givenchy un completo sui toni del rosso, bianco e nero con maxi bag abbinata, tutto in stampa pied de poule. Il risultato? Look eleganti e formali, a volte anche casual, ma sempre super chic.
Gessato
È passato un po' di tempo dall'ultima volta che abbiamo visto questa fantasia così sobria e versatile farsi strada nel principale circuito delle tendenze, ma sulle passerelle autunno/inverno 2021-2022 si sono visti un sacco di gessati. Molto spesso il gessato è associato al tailleur e ai capi di sartoria, ma questa stagione anche altre silhouette hanno preso in prestito questa stampa.

From Thebe Magugu to Simone Rocha to Nicolas Ghesquière at Louis Vuitton, many desiger presented their F/W 2021-22 collections with wild, wonderful prints.

Magugu, for example, referenced mysticism in the pattern of a sleek suit; Ghesquière brought the Louvre’s paintings to life; and Rocha went for Baroque with romantic florals.

Come fall, we are going to break free from gray and neutral tones, and bring some vibrancy into our lives.

Animal Prints
Animal prints are an evergreen and they dutifully returned among the fall/ winter 2021/22 print trends.
This season we saw many designers and brands like Roberto Cavalli, Diane Von Furstenberg, DKNY, coming up with their own fashionable versions to showcase their animal print collection. Leopard is the most popular of the animal prints decorating the runway. And even if you live for the black on white, you will surely love the zebra print outfits presented at Christopher Kane, Marc Jacobs and Versace
Chintz
We all know that florals and spring/summer are intrinsically linked and hardly groundbreaking (as the famous The Devil Wears Prada line goes) but they florals aren't always present for autumn, and certainly not in this antique-style chintzy form. This year's wintry blooms follow on from a summer full of posies. Sober shades and monochromatic looks alternate with floral outfits with botanical motifs that give a romantic allure and a burst of energy to day and evening dresses. There's been a continuation of 2020's #cottagecore movement, with ditsy, Laura Ashley-ready florals being smattered all over ruffled dresses and prim blouses. The tones will be just as muted going into AW21, but the vibe is slightly less parroquial and more to-the-manor-born, with grand flowers rendered in substantial weaves reminiscent of fine upholstery or archival Liberty prints.
Tartan
Here we come to another pattern trend, a classic come the winter season: tartan. Plaids and checks were used across the fashion collections, but it's the punk twist London brands inherently bring to this fabric that makes the difference. Charles Jeffrey, Vivienne Westwood and Alessandra Rich all served up the kind of looks that are only improved by attitude, smudged kohl and a pair of platforms.
Houndstooth
Houndstooth is an elegant and timeless pattern, a particular weft obtained by combining yarns of contrasting colors.
This iconic design, always fashionable, in the autumn-winter 2021-2022 collections is revisited and re-proposed in various color combinations, classic, but also original and captivating. Michael Kors proposed a double-breasted dress with cape in Pied-de-poule fancy green tones; Marine Serre a long wool-blend double-breasted houndstooth coat, in classic black and white tones; Givenchy a suit in shades of red, white and black with a matching maxi bag, all in houndstooth print. The result? Elegant and formal looks, sometimes even casual, but always super chic.
Pinstripes
It’s been a while since we’ve seen this subtle and versatile pattern work its way into the major trend circuit and in the fall/ winter 2021-2022 runways there were plenty of pinstripes.
Most often pinstripe is associated with suiting and tailored garments but other silhouettes took on the print and we saw designers play with the many variations of this pattern.
