Da tessuto usato per l’abbigliamento da lavoro a protagonista indiscusso di outfit passepartout. 

La "tela di Genova", negli anni, si è evoluta fino a diventare il tessuto superstar, quello più versatile e sfruttato di tutti.  

Il denim ha imparato come stupire, andando al di là dell’etichetta casual conferitagli per decadi, e facendosi persino sexy, glamour e sofisticato.  

Bisogna solo spingersi oltre l’abitudine di indossare i classici jeans, e sfruttare l’immenso potenziale che questo tessuto ha sugli altri capi d’abbigliamento, e persino sugli accessori.

Vale per abiti lunghi e minimalisti, mini dress sfiziosi tutti balze e ruches, jumpsuit che ricordano proprio quelle tute da lavoro da cui la denim mania ha avuto inizio. E vale anche per borse, scarpe, cappelli, bijoux e cinture. 

Lo dimostrano le tendenze che hanno sfilato sulle passerelle Autunno 2021: il denim si porta seguendo una regola precisa, ovvero va indossato in total look.

Insomma, quell’attitudine alla Britney Spears e Justin Timberlake, tanto chiacchierata (e un bel po’ criticata) negli anni Duemila di sfoggiare il denim dalla testa ai piedi non solo nel tempo libero, sembra voler tornare prepotentemente di moda. 

Oggi, anche griffe leggendarie come Alexander McQueen e Dior sostengono il trend, insieme alle celebrities più seguite sui social.

Denim always learned how to amaze, going beyond the casual label conferred on it for decades, and becoming even sexy, glamorous and sophisticated. 

You just need to go beyond the habit of wearing classic jeans, and take advantage of the immense potential that this fabric has on other clothing items, and even on accessories. 

On maxi and minimalist dresses, fancy mini dresses all flounces and ruches, even jumpsuits that recall those work suits from which the denim craze began. And you can even find it on bags, shoes, hats, jewelry and belts. 

This is what the catwalks stated for the fall 2021: denim is following a precise rule, that is that it must be worn in a total look. 

Yes, that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake attitude, so much talked about (even with amny criticism) in the 2000s of showing off denim from head to toe not only in free time, is back in fashion.

Today, even legendary brands such as Alexander McQueen and Dior support the trend, along with the most followed celebrities on Instagram.
