 TENDENZE MODA ESTATE 2021: IL PIZZO

Il mio rapporto con il pizzo fino a qualche anno fa era piuttosto chiaro: lo odiavo. 

L'ho sempre trovato così pretenzioso e con un che di borderline decadente. 

Poi un giorno, l’illuminazione: i nuovi capi in pizzo mi sono improvvisamente apparsi lontani anni luce dai loro predecessori. E assolutamente favolosi. 

Ed è così che è iniziata la mia storia d'amore con il pizzo. 

Il fattore tendenza in questa cosa del pizzo non è nemmeno un problema, perché da qualche anno questo tessuto è diventato sempre più popolare. Anzi, a dirla tutta, in realtà è stato un enorme successo di moda in tutti gli ultimi anni. 

Persino le eroine di "Game of Thrones" lo hanno indossato. E sì, lo so che è finzione, ma la moda non è forse meno reale, no? 

Abiti da sera, abiti da cocktail, collezioni pret a porter hanno avuto nel corso degli anni sempre più predilezione per questo tessuto, ma avete notato come quest'estate il pizzo sia ovunque? 

Top, vestiti e pantaloncini in pizzo sono capi delicati e femminili a cui molto probabilmente moltissime donne e  ricorreranno nell'estate 2021 per dare un tocco di eleganza romantica al loro look.

A ripensarci, probabilmente  quello che odiavo del pizzo in passato era la rappresentazione di una mentalità vecchia e chiusa che pensavo mettesse in evidenza: troppo lezioso e troppo femminile "sans le edge". Ma non sapevo che potesse essere davvero così versatile. 

L'estate 2021 ci mostra come il pizzo possa andare dall’ufficio, su un abito femminile al ginocchio molto appropriato, ai festival estivi su crop ​​top, pantaloncini o gonne, ai cocktail sulle gonne a matita , agli eventi in cui il pizzo può essere abbinato a capi di ispirazione maschile: t-shirt, felpe, scarpe da ginnastica, gioielli di tendenza e quant'altro.

My relationship with lace over the years has been clear and blunt: I hated it. Cause I always found it so pretentious and granny glamorous borderline decadent.

Yet, one day, I got slapped by the very clear and simple reality: the new lace pieces were light years away from their old siblings. And they were fabulous.

And that’s how my lace love affair begun. 

The trend factor in this lace thing is not even an issue, cause really lace has been in fashion (more or less as a front-lady) ever. It was actually a massive fashion hit all through those past decades. 

Even ‘Game of Thrones’ heroines wore it. Yes, I know it’s fiction, but… it doesn’t make the fashion thing less real, does it?

Evening dresses, cocktail attire, collections had more and more penchant for lace, yet have you noticed how this summer, lace is everywhere? 

White lace tops, dresses and shorts are the feminine dainty pieces all women and girls resort to in 2021 summer for a bit of romantic chicness to their look. 

I guess what I used to hate about the lace look was the close and old minded trait I thought it bared: way too girly and too feminine sans le edge. But little did I know, cause lace can be so versatile really. 

2021 Summer shows us how lace can go to the office in a very proper feminine knee-length dress, to summer festivals in crop white lace tops, or lace shorts or skirts, to cocktails in lace pencil skirts, to events when lace anything can be paired with men inspired items: tees, sweatshirts, sneakers, statement jewelry and what not.
