LOOKS: The Scarf Print is Back!

 La Stampa Foulard è Tornata!

Ci sono tantissimi modi per indossare i foulard. 

Sull'argomento sono stati scritti persino dei libri, e alcune maison che hanno fatto di questo accessorio un simbolo, come per esempio Hermès, nel corso del tempo hanno realizzato anche diverse mini guide con suggerimenti davvero interessanti e sorprendenti su come interpretarli. 

ma che i foulard di seta siano di gran moda non è certo una novità. Lo sono fin dai tempi di Audrey Hepburn e Grace Kelly, che adoravano quelli colorati da preziosissime stampe Hermès e che contribuirono all'ascesa ed alla consacrazione di questo accessorio da allora simbolo di eleganza. 

E se negli anni 50 e 60 - ma in verità anche questa primavera - lo si portava (quasi) sempre in testa, annodato come un fazzoletto sotto al mento o legato al collo, è negli anni 70 che il foulard cambia veste, trasformandosi in un pratico capo di abbigliamento e diventando l'alternativa più glamour e chic al classico top. 

La tendenza, portata perfino sui palcoscenici da star del calibro di Beyonce e Britney Spears nei primi anni 2000, recentemente è stata ripresa con entusiasmo dalle nostre It-model preferite - su tutte Bella Hadid e Kendall Jenner - scatenando sui social media una immediata reazione a catena che in pochissimo tempo ha lanciato il trend in tutto il mondo.

Ma come si indossano le stampe foulard sui capi d’abbigliamento? 

In realtà quello che all'apparenza potrebbe sembrare una fantasia da spiaggia è a tutti gli effetti una scelta vincente da indossare anche in giro per le strade di tutta Europa. 

Ok, la stampa foulard è senza dubbio perfetta per un favoloso copricostume - magari da sfoggiare a Portofino o a Saint-Tropez - ma non è poi così difficile utilizzarla per costruire un look equilibrato adatto alle uscite più casual in città. 

Provatela ad es. su una blusa morbida con un paio di jeans bianchi a vita alta e puntate sugli accessori giusti: gli occhiali da sole, la borsa e le scarpe in questo caso possono fare la differenza.

There are so many ways to wear the scarf. Even many books have been written on the subject, and some fashion houses, that have made this accessory a symbol, such as Hermès, over time have created several mini guides with really interesting and surprising suggestions on how to interpret them. 

That silk scarves are in fashion is certainly not new. They have been since the days of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, who adored the precious Hermès prints and who contributed to the rise and consecration of this accessory since then a symbol of elegance. 

And if in the 50s and 60s - but in truth also this spring - it was worn (almost) always on the head, tied like a handkerchief under the chin or tied around the neck, it was in the 70s that the scarf changed its appearance, becoming a practical piece of clothing and becoming the most glamorous and chic alternative to a much more classic top. 

The trend, even brought to the stage by the likes of Beyonce and Britney Spears in the early 2000s, has recently been enthusiastically picked up by our favorite It-models - like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner - sparking an immediate reaction to social media.A chain that in a very short time launched the trend all over the world. 

But how do you wear foulard prints on clothing? 

Really, what might seem like a beach fantasy is in effect a winning choice to wear around the streets of all of Europe. 

Ok, the foulard print is undoubtedly perfect for a fabulous beach cover-up - don't forget to show it off in Portofino and Saint-Tropez! - but it's not that difficult to use it to build a balanced look suitable for more casual outings in the city. 

Try it for ex. on a soft blouse with a pair of high-waisted white jeans and focus on the right accessories: sunglasses, a bag and shoes in this case can make the difference.
