La moda continua a essere una parola confusa in questo 2021. 

Più di un anno fa, non avremmo mai pensato che la nostra estetica si sarebbe presto riassunta con la frase "comfort su tutto" e che la maggior parte dei nostri maggiori acquisti avrebbero avuto a che fare con leggings o tute. 

Tuttavia, anche se trascorriamo più tempo a casa che altrove, alcune nuove tendenze sono comunque riuscite a spuntare. 

Abbiamo visto il ritorno del 2011, l'ascesa delle cinture di tendenza e persino i gilet, sia in maglia che in tessuto, si sono fatti strada sui nostri feed di Instagram. 

E, a proposito di gilet, c'è anche un nuovo modo di indossarli: con i leggings o i pantaloni di pelle.

Proprio come la popolare tendenza schoolcore che ci ha convinto a indossare gonnelline a pieghe con le felpe, questa combinazione si ritrova improvvisamente ovunque, chiedendo di essere copiata al più presto.

• Elegante e semplice
• La parte migliore di questo tipo di look è che è abbastanza facile da mettere insieme, ma allo stesso tempo si presenta come qualcosa di speciale e alla moda grazie a tutti quegli strati. In altre parole, non c’è bisogno di pensarci troppo su. Un gilet in maglia basico abbinato a un top nero e  pantaloni di pelle sarà più che sufficiente. Quindi, basteràcompletate il look con qualsiasi tipo di calzatura, che si tratti di stivaletti o mocassini.
• Con la stampa
• Un bel gilet in un colore o una stampa accattivante, invece di uno che sia in tinta unita e neutro, è un modo semplice per aggiungere divertimento e stile all’abbigliamento quotidiano.
• Sulla button down
• Se volete dare un tocco sofisticato e raffinato alla combinazione di gilet e pantaloni di pelle, infilateci una bella camicia bianca. Un paio di scarpe da ginnastica aiuterà poi a evitare l’outfit si presenti troppo formale.
• Sopra la maglietta
• Dal momento che il gilet e i pantaloni di pelle sono entrambi capi "speciali" - ovvero un passo avanti rispetto ai capi di tutti i giorni come jeans e felpe - una semplice maglietta bianca bilancerà le cose conferendo al completo un'atmosfera casual chic.
• Con capi statement
• Ovviamente, niente ci impedisce di esagerare. Di più è meglio in questo caso, quindi se volete davvero portare le cose a un livello superiore, non trattenetevi con gli accessori. Indossate un bel cappello, collane a strati e un bel paio di anfibi con plateau.
• Fresco e corto
• Se non siete tipi che seguono la folla e vi piace distinguervi, assicuratevi che il vostro abbigliamento sia diverso sperimentando dimensioni, tagli e proporzioni. A year ago, we never would have thought our aesthetic would soon be summed up with the phrase 'comfort over everything,' and that most of our big purchases have to do with leggings or trackers. 

However, even though we spend more time at home than anywhere else, new trends have still managed to pop up. 

We've seen the return of 2011, the rise of statement belts, and even vests — both sweater and sleeveless jaket-like — have weaseled their way on our Instagram feed.

Speaking of vests, there's also a brand new way to style 'em: With a pair of leather pants. 

Just like the popular schoolcore trend that convinced us to wear pleated skirts with sweatshirts, this outfit combination is suddenly everywhere, begging to be copied ASAP.

• Sleek and Simple
• The best part about this kind of look is that it's easy enough to put together, but at the same time, comes across as something special and fashion-forward because of all those layers. In other words, don't overthink it. A basic sweater vest styled over a black top and with leather pants will be more than enough. Then, complete the look with any type of footwear, whether it's ankle boots or loafers.
• With a Print
• Finding a vest that features an eye-catching color or print, instead of one that's solid and neutral, is an easy way to add fun and flair to your outfit.
• Over a Button-Down
• If you want to add an elevated, polished twist to your vest and leather pants combination, throw on a white button-down. A pair of sneakers will then help to keep your outfit from feeling too formal.
• Over a Tee
• Since the vest and the leather pants are both 'special' items — AKA a step up from everyday staples like jeans and sweatshirts — a plain white tee will balance things out and give your ensemble a casual vibe.
• Styled With Statement Pieces
• Of course, nothing is stopping you from going all out, either. More is more in this case, so if you really want to take things up a notch, don't hold back with accessories. Throw on a bold hat, layer necklaces, and opt for platform boots.

• If you aren't the type to follow the crowd, ensure your outfit is different by experimenting with size, crops, and proportion. Work in your personal style by experimenting with puff sleeves, cropped pants, texture, prints.
