TENDENZE MODA INVERNO 2021: I QUADRETTI

Eccomi di nuovo qui dopo una piccola pausa per le vacanze di Natale: voi come avete passato queste strane feste? Le mie sono state insolitamente tranquille ma anche molto piacevoli e rilassanti, alla fine, forse per la prima volta da anni, sono riuscita a godermi per bene l'atmosfera natalizia senza stress. 

Ma bando alle chiacchiere e iniziamo con l'argomento della settimana!

Visti alle settimane della moda di New York, Londra, Milano e Parigi all'inizio dello scorso anno, i quadretti sono (ancora una volta) tornati alla grande per la stagione invernale, ma in modi diversi e super interessanti. 

Insomma, questa stampa è qualcosa che vale assolutamente la pena inserire nell’abbigliamento quotidiano invernale! 

Tanto più considerando la quantità di bellissime varianti che sono disponibili quest’anno: vichy, plaid, scacchiera, tartan, pied de poule, quadri grafici e molto altro ancora.  

Considerato ormai il trend più caldo di questa stagione, i quadrettati hanno un impatto importante sul ogni tipo di look. Da quelli che riescono ad abbellire delicatamente le linee più classiche a quelli che possono rendere statement anche l'ensamble più piatto sottoforma di stampe giganti, ce n’è per tutti i gusti! 

Un quadrettato leggermente più scuro può persino riuscire a dare ad un outfit vibrazioni quasi punk. Come indossare i quadretti, quindi? La regola pratica più importante consiste nell’evitare di complicare eccessivamente le cose. La bellezza infatti sta nella semplicità della stampa e dovrebbe essere messa in risalto magari abbinandola a tinte unite.  

Tuttavia, ci sono alcuni casi in cui può funzionare anche il check-on-check. Ma questo è sicuramente qualcosa le più esperte e per coloro che sono abbastanza sicure di sé da riuscire a portarla con disinvoltura.

Here we are again after a little break for the Christmas holidays: how did you spend these strange holidays?  

Mine were unusually quiet but also very pleasant and relaxing, in the end, perhaps for the first time in years, I was able to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere without stress. 

But cut out with small talk and let's start with the topic of the week! 

Seen at the fashion weeks of New York, London, Milan and Paris earlier last year, checks are huge (once again) – in different and wonderful ways. 

The print is something you need to incorporate into your everyday outfit.

And they come in so many beautiful variations too. Gingham, plaid, windowpane, tartan, houndstooth, graph and much more.

Regarded as this season's hottest trend, checks are expected to make a major impact. From subtly embellishing classic designs to appearing as giant prints to embolden a look, they are everywhere. A slightly darker one can even give an outfit an almost punk-ish feel.

How do you wear checks? The rule of thumb is not to overcomplicate matters. The beauty is in the print's simplicity and should be paired with a solid colour.

Although, there are some instances where a check-on-check look can work. But this is definitely something for people who are confident enough to pull it off.
