In linea generale però possiamo dire che il lato sartoriale è uno dei trend più solidi anche per questa primavera estate (se state cercando di investire in un tailleur pantalone ad es. questo è il momento giusto) ma ciò non significa che non ci siano nuove proposte ben definite tra cui scegliere.

Con un taglio pulito e fit, potete optare per una lunghezza appena sotto il ginocchio oppure anche più corta e audace; da Givenchy hanno incanalto in questo capo quella che Clare Waight Keller chiamava "l’energia da ragazzo, grezza"; da Max Mara, c’è una forte inclinazione militaristica, grazie al dichiarato intento di Ian Griffith di vestire “donne assassine”; mentre da Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo e Rejina Pyo hanno optato per look decisamente vivaci, con tagli più alti sulla coscia.
Un altro capo da tenere assolutamente in considerazione per questa stagione è il sofisticato short in pelle: un articolo destinato a tradursi in infinite varianti.

Anyway tailoring’s grip is as firm as ever for this spring summer (if you’re looking to invest in an exemplary trouser suit, now’s the time) but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some new, well-cut proposals. The shorts suit. 

Cut long and lean, falling just below the knee or even shorter and bolder, at Givenchy they channelled what Clare Waight Keller called “raw, boyish energy”; at Max Mara, they had a crisp, faintly militaristic bent, thanks to Ian Griffiths’s stated desire to dress female assassins; and at Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo and Rejina Pyo they looked positively peppy, cut high on the thigh. 

Another highlight for this season is the sophisticated leather short: this is an item that is set to translate in many ways.

Saint Laurent included a variety of longer leather pairs in its fall 2020 collection, so, if there were ever a time to invest in this item, now would be it.
