LOOKS: The Leather Shorts Trend is Back for This Spring / Summer 2020

La Tendenza Pantaloncini in Pelle Per la Primavera / Estate 2020

Potrebbe non essere la tendenza più pratica per l'estate, ma è sicuramente la più carina ed originale: gli shorts in pelle.

Anche se non consiglio di indossarli, per esempio, con 30 gradi, sono comunque una specie di must perfetto soprattutto per le mezze stagioni. 

Si abbinano bene con canottiere e magliette, ma sono altrettanto cool con camicie e maglioni. 
Sandali e sneakers vanno sempre bene per completare il look, ma i pantaloncini in pelle funzionano anche con tacchi e stivali. 
Inoltre, sono facili da indossare al posto dei corrispondenti in denim o cotone, ma in più hanno quella consistenza morbida gli dà un’aria più sofisticata e di alta moda.

A quanto pare, alcune delle nostre celebrità e icone di stile preferite sono già grandi fan dei pantaloncini in pelle. E hanno fatto il lavoro per noi, mettendo insieme look  accattivanti e mostrandoci esattamente perché vale la pena investire in un paio di questi shorts, appena possible.
Parte di noi probabilmente assocerà sempre questa tendenza ai discutibili tentativi dei primi anni del 2010, quando abbiamo iniziato ad abbinarli con stivaletti e calze a rete. Tuttavia, il modo di abbinare questi pantaloncini più apprezzabile proviene proprio dalle passerelle primavera / estate 2020, da Salvatore Ferragamo a Valentino, che non potranno non convincervi con il loro styling femminile e ricercato.

It might not be the most practical trend for summer, but it's definitely the cutest: the leather shorts.

While I don't recommend wearing them in say, 30-degree heat (two words: waistband sweat), they're kind of the perfect in-between staple. 

They pair well with tank tops and tees, but also look sharp with button-downs and sweaters. 

Sandals and sneakers can still complete your look, but leather shorts work with heels and boots, too.

Plus, while they're easy to throw on in place of denim or cotton options, that buttery texture makes them feel a bit more elevated and high-fashion.

As it turns out, some of our favorite celebrities and style icons are already big fans of leather shorts.

They've done the hard work for us, putting together eye-catching outfits, and showing us exactly why it's worth investing in a pair, ASAP. 

Part of us will always associate this questionable trend with early 2010s, when we first started pairing them with ankle boots and fishnet tights. 

However, the shorts style popped up on more than one spring/summer 2020 runway, from Salvatore Ferragamo to Valentino, thus convincing us they've returned in a big way.
