La Tendenza Army non è Mai Stata Così Glamour

Molto spesso usiamo la moda per esprimerci, si sa. Usiamo lo stile per parlare di ciò che sentiamo e di che umore siamo, ma anche di ciò che vorremmo essere, o per lo meno far credere di essere.

D’altronde la moda prende enormemente spunto ed ispirazione, simboli e forme dalla cultura, dalle strade, dalla vita di tutti i giorni, e non c'è da stupirsi quindi che alcune tendenze siano tanto forti proprio in quanto riescono ad evocare l’idea di potere, sicurezza, equilibrio, attitudine, coraggio, ecc. che ci serve - meglio ancora se tutto ciò in modo molto raffinato, femminile e sexy.

Se dovessimo descrivere la caratteristica principale della tendenza militare (dato che non è affatto nuova) del 2020, sarebbe proprio il lusso.

Verdi, cachi, neri, marroni, blu scuri - i colori dell'esercito - sono tutti IN, ma quest’anno vanno insieme a decorazioni dorate, tessuti lussuosi e accessori da ostentare, o in alternativa in delicate stratificazioni con il pizzo e lo chiffon corredate da bijoux minimal in sottili fili d'oro.

Se invece cercate un glamour ancora più accattivante, potete abbinare i vostri capi ispirati al look militare con la pelliccia sintetica (finchè le temperature ancora lo permettono), oppure con calzature sexy e tacchi a spillo.

E se credete che i look army style vadano bene solo per i festival musicali o per far rivivere velleità anni '90, è il caso di ripensarci. I designer ci hanno proposto abiti, gonne, top, persino abiti da cocktail, da sera e da ufficio semplicemente favolosi ispirati alla tendenza militare.

Pensate a una camicia in seta verde con gli spallacci, infilata in una gonna a matita nera ed un bel paio di décolleté.
O un abito estivo color kaki, o anche uno slip dress verde satinato: sono la reinvenzione perfetta del look militare fatto glamour.
Questo è uno degli stili più versatili in assoluto e la cosa grandiosa di quest'anno è la sua incredibile disponiblità: si passa dallo stile teen/grunge alla lussuosa socialite con un debole per la moda edgy, all'editor di moda, al look casual/everyday… fondamentalmente qualsiasi cosa potrebbe sembrare ispirata all'esercito con il taglio giusto (quindi di base molto strutturato), il colore giusto o i dettagli che servono.

We often use fashion to express ourselves, this is well known.

We use style to speak in tune with what we feel, how we are one day, and even how we would be.

On the other hand, fashion does borrow tremendously from the culture, from the streets, from every-day life.

No wonder some trends out there are as strong as they can get and scream a certain power, empowerment, command, poise, attitude, courage…. – even better if all in a very polished feminine and sexy sort of way.

If we were to describe the main feature of the military trend (cause it’s not new at all) of 2020, it would be luxury.

Greens, khakis, blacks, browns, dark blues – all colors of the army style - are all IN, but with golden decorations, expensive fabrics and accessories to show off, Or alternatively in delicate layers with lace or chiffon along dainty minimalist gold bijoux.
For even more glamour, you could mix your military look inspired clothes with faux fur (while weather still permits it), or wear them with sexy footwear and stiletto heels.

Even bold lips look fabulous against an army inspired look, especially red. The whole army style combo with golden accessories and strong makeup is powerful. Edgy. Urban even
And if you think that the army-inspired looks are just for festivals and channelling your 90s grunge inner child, think again. Designers have shown us fabulous dresses, skirts, tops, even cocktail, evening and office wear inspired by the military trend. Think a green shirt with shoulder straps, tucked in a black pencil skirt, with stiletto pumps on.
Or a kaki summer dress, or even a satin green slip dress: they are the perfect reinvention of the military look done glamorous.
It is one of the easiest looks to do, and what’s great about it this year, is its incredible versatility: from grunge teen style to uber rich luxurious socialite with a penchant for edgy fashion, to busy fashion editor, to the everyday look; basically anything might look army inspired with either the right cut (very structural), the right colour, or the details.
