How to Choose Blue Shades for winter 2020

È dall’inizio dell’inverno che se ne avevano gli indizi, ed ormai è ufficiale: quest'anno la moda gira tutta intorno al  blu. 

Visivamente, sulle passerelle e nella realtà quotidiana, pare proprio che questo 2020 lo passeremo  colorati come il mare o il cielo (a meno che Pantone non cambi idea nel frattempo). L'alta corte dei colori ha dichiarato infatti il blu classico colore dell'anno 2020. 

La tonalità ufficiale in realtà sarebbe quella che la maggior parte della gente chiamerebbe cobalto o blu reale, una sfumatura inoffensiva e onnipresente che va bene per tutto, dalle tute spaziali della NASA agli astucci per le penne. 
E a quanto pare questo colore rappresenta la voglia di prendersi un break dalle lotte costanti che l’era moderna ci propone.
Nella moda, il cobalto non è esattamente uno dei colori più amati però. Negli ultimi anni, sontuosi neutrali con una timida sensibilità borghese hanno regnato supremi grazie a Hedi Slimane da Celine, Riccardo Tisci da Burberry e così via.  Sono colori semplici, belli e rassicuranti.

Ma quando appare un colore così potente come il blu brillante, di solito per mano di un designer esperto che sa cosa fare, primo fra tutti Giorgio Armani. 
Da lì in poi da Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalia lo ha usato per rafforzare un messaggio di unità, Haider Ackermann ha sfrutatto questo colore per adattare i suoi tailleur alle apsettative più moderne, Eckhaus Latta ha presentato varie  incursioni di paillettes blu nelle sue creazioni mentre Gucci ha proposto bellissimi maxi dresses scollati in queste tonalità, ecc.
Questa sfumatura di blu pone l’accento anche su determinate caratteristiche psicologiche. Pare infatti che sesi sta esposti a questo colore per un certo periodo di tempo, si riescano ad attivare alcune zone della mente normalmente poco utilizzate, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la sfera più intuitiva…. E se ancora non siete convinte a provare questo colore, lasciate che le passerelle siano la vostra guida!

It's been since the beginning of winter that were clues, but now it's official: fashion revolves all around blue.  

Visually, practically, and actually we are looking to be colored like the sea or the sky come 2020—at least if Pantone has anything to say about it. The high court of colors has in fact declared its Color of the Year for 2020 to be Classic Blue. 

The shade is what most people would call cobalt or royal blue, the inoffensive, omnipresent hue that colors everything from NASA’s space suits to to pen cases. And apparently this color represent a release, a refresh from the strife of our modern era.
In fashion, cobalt is not exactly a hot color commodity. Over the past year, sumptuous neutrals with a coy bourgeois sensibility have reigned supreme thanks to Hedi Slimane at Celine, Riccardo Tisci at Burberry and so on. 

When a bright blue does pop up—it’s usually in the hands of a savvy designer with a strong point to make. At Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalia used it to reinforce a message of unity, Haider Ackermann used this color to adapt his suits to the most modern expectations, Eckhaus Latta used it in sequins raids while Gucci presented beautiful low-cut maxi dresses in these shades.
This shade of blue also poses psychic possibilities. Seems in fact that if you have enough exposure to this color over time, you can begin to notice that you’re going to be tapping into some of the higher realms of the mind. With more exposure to this color, you really can tap into the more intuitive mind….
