OOTD: Patchwork Is The New Fashion Must-Try

Che ci crediate o no, la maggior parte degli stilisti era scettica sul patchwork, che oggi, tuttavia è chiaro aver  preso piede, in passerella quanto sulle strade. 

Personalmente, non ho mai pensato che questa tendenza si sarebbe potuta diffondere nel mondo della moda così velocemente, innanzi tutto perché non è per nulla facile.

• Se siete ancora alle prime armi con questa tendenza, sarà senz’altro meglio che iniziate dagli accessori : potete provare deliziose borse a tracolla impreziosite da patchwork o se volete qualcosa di più sofisticato potete scegliere un leggero foulard in una stampa patchwork astratta.
• Ma il patchwork non è solo colore: avete mai pensato al patchwork in denim? Era molto popolare negli anni '70, ecco perché vediamo così tanti look impreziositi patchwork nelle collezioni ispirate a questo decennio. Il denim è una scelta perfetta da indossare quest'anno. Potete provare i jeans slim fit impreziositi da toppe di colore su tutta le gamba, oppure minigonne o pantaloncini a vita alta patchwork. Questi capi sono perfetti per look sportivo- casual o smart-casual. Il risultato può essere casual, comodo e dolce tanto quanto sexy e audace.
• Se invece volete sfoggiare al massimo questa tendenza, allora un patchwork colorato è quello che fa per voi. Anche in questo caso i look sono per lo più ispirati agli anni '70 e sono sempre vivaci, chic ed estremamente modaioli. Se vi piacciono i colori, qui non avete che l’imbarazzo della scelta: ad esempio, potete abbinare una parte di sotto patchwork dai colori vivaci (pantaloni larghi o gonna midi / maxi) con un top in tinta unita neutra.
• Se invece siete abbastanza coraggiose da indossare il patchwork da capo a piedi, non avete che da provare. Personalmente, penso che sia un filino estremo, ma ho visto diverse ragzze indossare abiti e tute patchwork ed il risultato sembra sofisticato ed estremamente stiloso. Se ve la sentite di provare, tenete però gli accessori al minimo.
• infine se nonostante tutto pensate che la moda patchwork sia troppo per voi, potete sempre optare per capi con un motivo geometrico (quadrati, righe, diagonali), una alternativa perfetta al patchwork.

Believe it or not, but most stylists were skeptical regarding patchwork. Today, it is taken over the streets fashion. 

And personally, even I never thought this trend will spread the fashion world so fast.

• If you are a beginner to this trend, then you better start from patchwork accessories. You can try on beautiful shoulder bags embellished with patchwork, or keep things cool by wearing a stylish light scarf in an abstract patchwork print.
• But patchwork is not just full color: have you ever thought about denim patchwork? It was very popular back in the 1970’s, that’s why we see so many patchwork embellished looks inspired by this decade. Denim is a perfect choice to wear this year. Try on slim-fit jeans embellished with different color patches all over the legs, or you can try on patchwork high-rise mini skirt or shorts. You can either create a sporty casual or smart-casual look. The result can be cozy, comfy and sweet or bold and sexy as you want.
• If, on the other hand, you want to show off this trend to the maximum, then a colorful patchwork is the one for you. This is another 1970’s inspired look that is bright, chic and extremely modish. If you are in love with vibrancy, then you are more than welcome to experiment with colors craziness. For instance, you can pair brightly colored patchwork bottoms (loose trousers or midi/maxi skirt) with a solid neutral color top.
• If you are brave enough to wear head-to-toe patchwork trend, then you just have to try. Personally, I think it's a bit of extreme, but I've seen many ladies around wearing dresses and jumpsuits and the result looks sophisticated and extremely voguish. If you want to try it, then keep your accessories to the minimum.
• Finally, even if you think that patchwork fashion is too much for you, then you can always opt for a piece that has a set pattern (squares, diagonal strips) to it, that is a perfect reminiscent to patchwork.
