  • Egret (Panna e Crema Naturale): Il bianco ottico scompare.

I Blu Abissali e Marittimi

I Punti Luce: Giallo Burro e Pastelli Soft

-ENG-

The color palette for the Fall/Winter 2026/2027 (FW26-27) season reflects a deep evolution in the fashion world, moving between the stability of warm earthy tones replacing black and the boldness of unexpected color contrasts seen on international runways.
The keyword is balance: the softness of nature dialogues with bursts of vibrant energy.

The New Neutrals: The "Brown Power" Era

Black officially yields its place to a range of rich, warm, and layered browns that wrap coats, suede, and knitwear.

  • Chocolate Brown and Toffee: A deep intensity that serves as the new base for tailored suits and luxury outerwear.
  • Arabian Spice: A brown with strong spicy and earthy undertones, perfect for tone-on-tone styling.
  • Egret (Natural Cream and Ivory): Stark optic white disappears. Runways celebrate a buttery, natural cream white that brightens winter monochromatic looks.

Sumptuous Reds and the Clash with Purple

Red doesn't leave the scene but grows darker, meeting unprecedented combinations once considered absolute fashion taboos.

  •  Red Mahogany and Burgundy: A dark, moody, and sophisticated mahogany red dominating leather looks and evening gowns.
  •  Eggplant / Amethyst Purple: Regal, deep shades that enhance the texture of velvet.

The Key Combination: The season's true novelty is pairing Red and Purple within the same outfit—a magnetic combination promoted by avant-garde runway shows.

Character Greens

Natural inspiration but with an extremely polished and refined finish.

  • Burnt Olive and Olive Green: A military-inspired yet dusty green, highly favored for wool coats and utilitarian looks.
  • Green Envy: A saturated, deep forest green symbolizing refined, earth-bound elegance.

Abyssal and Maritime Blues

Blue splits between urban rigor and magnetic intensity.

  • Transformative Teal / Neptune Green: A retro, aquatic blue-green (dark teal), elected by trend forecasters as a "hero" nuance of 2026 for its versatility and modernity.
  • All Aboard Blue and Klein Blue: A mid-tone maritime blue that injects an electric, urban burst into blazers and coordinated suits.

Highlighting Points: Butter Yellow and Soft Pastels

To break up the cold months' rigor, designers introduced soft, warm notes.

  • Acacia (Butter Yellow): A soft yellow with a slight hint of green, ideal for breaking up dark outfits with sartorial grace.
  • Muted Clay: A faded, dusty terracotta that evokes slow-fashion craftsmanship.
  • Candy Pink and Foxglove Pink: Shades of antique pink and mauve that soften oversized sweaters and romantic blouses.

  1. Red and purple in the same outfit is the one that surprised me, I would have called that a no a few years ago. I also like that cream is taking over from stark white, it always looks softer. Thanks for the clear overview, Silvia.
