Per questa stagione, sembra che non ci sia stata collezione che non abbia presentato una qualche silhouette sottile, delicata e slanciata, ed al contempo la fissazione atletica della moda non si è ancora esaurita. 

Da Christian Dior, ad es.,le canotte avevano un aspetto parecchio sportivo. 

Abbiamo anche visto sofisticate rivisitazioni della sportività, come abiti polo e impermeabili in materiali che vanno dal nylon al raso, da indossare però con abiti di paillettes.

Abbondano anche dettagli in forma di cerchi e dischi, simboli associati alla femminilità. 

Anche i marsupi hanno fatto la loro ricomparsa, soprattutto sugli abiti con le bretelle della robe de style resa popolare un secolo fa da Jeanne Lanvin. 

Inoltre sono usciti dall'ombra i look ammalianti. Si va dal misterioso e tenebroso al romantico alla "Rhiannon" di Stevie Nicks (che, come "donna portata dal vento", è estremamente di tendenza).

Marinai, principi rinascimentali, re Tudor, Little Lord Fauntleroy e altri personaggi dei libri di fiabe hanno preso vita sulle passerelle.

• ornamenti a volontà
• Gli ornamenti sono stati numerosi nelle collezioni primaverili, con moschettoni, piume, paillettes e cristalli sparsi nel prêt-à-porter e negli accessori. Sia che si acquisti qualcosa di già decorato o che si ricorra all'upcycling fai-da-te, "more is more" è una delle parole chiave di questa primavera.
• la gonna a pieghe
• Ferri da stiro pronti! Pieghe di ogni tipo, da quelle dritte e stirate a quelle a zig-zag e alle micro pieghe plissettate, hanno caratterizzato i look preppy delle sfilate primaverili. Miu Miu ha fatto debuttare diverse gonne midi colorate in pelle; McQueen ha presentato un mini con bordi sfrangiati; un modello grigio uniforme era sospeso da una cintura a clip da Prada, mentre Bottega Veneta ha proposto la versione gessata. È un capo di abbigliamento che durerà tutto l'anno, quindi vale la pena investirci.
• Dettagli marinari
• Spesso gli stilisti fanno cenno allo stile nautico per la stagione estiva ma, per il 2025, la caratterizzazione di questo tema è tuttìaltro che sottile. Ed anche in questo caso, nel migliore dei modi. Alcuni stilisti hanno interpretato questo stato d'animo con look che alludono a un sexy naufragio, mentre altri, anche se non in modo più discreto, hanno dato uno sguardo più grafico alla moda nautica. L'atmosfera marittima che attraversa le collezioni P/E 2025 non sembra tanto una tendenza, quanto piuttosto un raffinato reset. Le classiche combinazioni di blu e bianco si sentono di nuovo attuali, mentre le classiche righe bretoni si liberano delle loro associazioni casual per diventare un tema raffinato. Questo rinascimento marinaro va oltre la mera estetica: è una proposta di stile di vita completa che coniuga la raffinatezza senza tempo con la disinvoltura contemporanea.
• Frange sofisticate
• Le frange sono praticamente sempre presenti, in una forma o nell'altra, sulle passerelle, ma in questa stagione il dettaglio è stato ineludibile, presente nelle collezioni di quasi tutti i principali marchi. Quelle metalliche si sono viste da Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney e Burberry, mentre ornavano gli abiti da flapper di Fendi e davano una finitura boho ai capi di Michael Kors e Isabel Marant. Da Chanel, è stato il dettaglio di quasi tutte le giacche, a volte sottile sugli orli mentre su altri capi, hanno rubato la scena. Maria Grazia Chiuri l'ha abbracciato alla grande per Dior, mostrandolo su body e accessori, mentre Ralph Lauren l'ha reso romantico e 16Arlington e Bottega hanno puntato tutto sul colore.
• Romantici volant
• Sembra che nessuno potrà resistere a un po' di romanticismo in questa stagione, e non solo nella palette di colori rosa e rosso che ha dominato le passerelle. Gli stilisti di tutte e quattro le città della moda hanno adottato nelle loro collezioni dei delicati e romantici volant, alcuni sotto forma di leggeri tocchi di rifinitura, altri più costruiti. Tra gli stilisti che hanno puntato tutto sul romanticismo ci sono Simone Rocha, Roksanda e Nensi Dojaka con i loro abiti con volant rosa, mentre quasi tutti i capi della collezione Valentino di Alessandro Michele includevano volant. Tory Burch l'ha fatto su camicie e abiti in pelle, Alaïa l'ha aggiunto agli orli peplum e McQueen ha dato un tocco femminile alla sartoria a quadri con un bordo di volant bianco.

Seemingly no collection was without some kind of slim and sleek tank silhouette, while fashion’s Olympics-fuelled athletic fixation has not yet waned. 

At Christian Dior, for ex.,tanks had a sporty aspect. 

We also saw sophisticated takes on sportiness like billowy polo dresses and windbreakers in materials from nylon to satin, to wear with sequinned dresses.

Circles and discs, symbols associated with femininity, were also abundant. 

Panniers put in an appearance too, most notably on side-bolstered robe de style dresses popularised a century ago by Jeanne Lanvin. Also coming out from the shadows were bewitching looks. 

These ranged from the darkly mysterious, to the romantic á la Stevie Nicks’s “Rhiannon” (who, as “a woman taken by the wind” is exceedingly on trend). 

Seduction is a kind of sorcery that designers played with via cone bras and transparent (tulle) veiling that was like a physical replication of a soft filter.

Softness and fluidity are not far apart, and into this especially feminine season, dandies made a dramatic entrance. 

At Saint Laurent the house founder was the muse. Sailors, Renaissance princes, Tudor kings, Little Lord Fauntleroy, and other storybook characters also came to life on the runways.

• adornments aplenty
• Adornments were rife in the spring collections, with carabiner clips, feathers, sequins and crystals splayed across ready-to-wear and accessories. Whether you buy something pre-embellished or take a turn in DIY upcycling, “more is more” is one of the key memos for spring.
• the pleated skirt
• Irons at the ready! Pleats of many kinds, from scholarly pressed pleats to zig-zagging folds and micro knife pleats, grounded preppy looks at the spring shows. Miu Miu debuted various colourful midis in leather; McQueen featured a frayed-edge mini; a uniform-grey style was suspended from a clipped belt at Prada, while Bottega Veneta showed a pinstriped version. This is a staple that’ll last all year round.
• In the Navy
• We often see designers nod to a nautical theme for the summer season but, for 2025, the characterisation of it feels as subtle as Jean Paul Gaultier's first adverts for its iconic Le Male perfume in 1995. Again, in the best possible way. Some designers interpreted this mood with looks that would allude to you as being dressed as a sexy castaway for Halloween while others, although no more discreetly, took a more graphic look at nautical fashion. The maritime mood sweeping through the S/S 2025 collections feels less like a trend and more like a refined reset. Classic navy and crisp white combinations feel newly relevant, while Breton stripes shed their casual associations for elevated territory. This seafaring renaissance extends beyond mere aesthetics—it's a complete lifestyle proposition that marries timeless sophistication with contemporary ease.
• Fabulous fringing
• Fringing is always around in some form or another but this season, the detail was inescapable, seen in the collections of almost every major brand. It was given the metallic treatment at Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney and Burberry, while it adorned flapper dresses at Fendi and gave a boho finish to pieces at Michael Kors and Isabel Marant. At Chanel, it was the detail on almost every jacket, sometines just subtle on hems and in other pieces, it was stealing the spotlight. Maria Grazia Chiuri embraced it big time at Dior, showing it over leotards and on accessories, while Ralph Lauren made it romantic and 16Arlington and Bottega went all out with colour.
• Romantic ruffles
• It seems that nobody could resist a little romance this season – and not just in the pink and red colour palette that dominated the catwalks. Designers across all four cities embraced delicate romantic ruffles in their collections, some in the form of light finishing touches and others going all out. Those who went full Valentine's Day included Simone Rocha, Roksanda and Nensi Dojaka with their pink ruffled gowns, while almost every piece in Alessandro Michele's Valentino collection included at least a ruffle or two. Tory Burch did it on shirts and leather dresses, Alaïa added it to peplum hems and McQueen gave checked tailoring a ladylike touch with a white ruffle trim.
