Come tendenza della primavera 2025, l'estetica preppy è stata remixata e persino resa un po' più trasgressiva, ma nel modo migliore possibile. 

Oggi lo stile non consiste più nell'emulare uno studente dell'Ivy League, ma nell'esprimere il proprio stile personale senza bisogno di andare trioppo fuori dagli schemi.

Ma non c'è nulla di male nel trarre ispirazione dai classici stili preppy prima di sperimentarne i propri.

• Completo baggy con scarpe da ginnastica alla moda 
• Indossate le Sambas di Adidas con un blazer e un paio di pantaloni larghi al posto di un mocassino o di una scarpa da ginnastica.  Le preferite dalle sorelle Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski e Dakota Johnson, le sneaker retro-preppy aggiungono il giusto tocco sportivo all'abbigliamento da ufficio. 
• Ralph Lauren Redux
• Ecco un esempio di come il pubblico della moda abbia spinto il marchio preppy per eccellenza, Ralph Lauren, oltre il suo stile caratteristico. La combinazione di camicia abbottonata Ralph Lauren a  righe, pantaloncini gessati, décolleté e calzini è così stravagante che funziona.
• Giacche barn e scarpe da barca
• Un altro aspetto dello spirito preppy del 2025 è un cenno allo stile country inglese, ovvero l'onnipresente tendenza della giacca barn che fa apparire ogni fashion set pronto per i lavori agricoli. Aggiungete la più recente tendenza polarizzante della moda, le scarpe da barca, per un outfit giocoso che si ricollega all'estetica dei pescatori e funziona sia in mare che sulla terraferma.
• Un gilet stravagante
• Gli outfit a strati giocano un ruolo fondamentale nella moda di questa primavera, soprattutto per la stagione di transizione. Prendete una button-down a righe ed indossatela sotto un gilet grafico. Una gonna di velluto a coste e kitten heel completano il tutto.

Per la primavera, prendete in considerazione un abito polo ed abbinatelo a stivali texani al ginocchio, tutt'altro che pudico.
