Sebbene sia sempre eccitante scoprire quella nuova tendenza che si sa già cambierà il volto della moda per la prossima stagione, con il tempo ho imparato ad apprezzare anche l'affidabilità dei classici.

E presumo che i quadretti siano presenti in ogni relazione sulle tendenze dell'autunno/inverno che sia mai stata pubblicata. 

Tuttavia, per il 2023, sono decisamente più incisivi dei loro predecessori. Le trame tradizionali infatti sono ancora di moda, ma in mix di colori vivaci e insoliti. 

Da Emilia Wickstead, ad es., i motivi verdi a griglia hanno dominato la scena, mentre uno dei miei look preferiti della stagione è il cappotto color senape e i pantaloni in pelle di Zimmermann.

While there's an excitement in unearthing a new trend you know is going to change the face of fashion for a season, as I get older, I've come to appreciate the sound reliability of others. 

I would assume that checks have featured on every autumn/winter trend report that has ever been published. 

However, for 2023, they're significantly punchier than their predecessors. Heritage weaves are still very much a thing—but in bright and unusual colour mixes. 

At Emilia Wickstead, for ex., green grid-like motifs stole the show, while one of my favourite looks of the season is the deep-mustard coat and leather trousers at Zimmermann.
