Date le temperature, ora sembra il momento giusto per parlare di cappotti.  

Sì, è un argomento molto comune di questi tempi, ma solo quando finalmente ci ritroviamo completamente immersi nell'inverno che le più grandi tendenze cappotto si concretizzano.  

Parliamo di quei cappotti che hanno ancora l’aria della novità nonostante le nuove collezioni siano già in giro da un pò, cosa che li rendende l'aggiunta ideale al nostro parterre di capospalla, sia che vogliate colmare una lacuna fashion o semplicemente affrontare le settimane più fredde su un altro livello sartoriale. 

Quindi, vediamo le tendenze che saranno le più importanti per il resto della stagione.  

Dalla sfumatura che non manca mai di essere chic alla graziosa allacciatura che potrebbe farvi venire nostalgia dei bei tempi della giovinezza, ecco le tendenze cappotto che vi assicureranno una nota elegante nelle settimane più fredde dell’anno e che molto probabilmente vi piacerà indossare anche gli anni a venire.

• SHEARLING
• Lo shearling ribolle sotto la superficie da un po' di tempo, ma sembra che la tendenza sia finalmente sbocciata. Invece di limitarsi a foderare i cappotti, il tessuto ora abbellisce l'esterno dei capispalla più caldi di questa stagione. L'opzione shearling si sta rivelando una delle preferite tra i set di moda, e ci sono anche molte iterazioni eco a nostra disposizione.
• SPINA DI PESCE MONOCROMATICA
• Quando si tratta di scegliere un cappotto invernale, i quadrettati sono sempre affidabili. Senza tempo, sì, ma forse un pò noiosi? Bè magari è un’esagerazione, dopotutto piace ancora a tutte indossare i nostri bei cappotti a quadri, ma se state cercando di cambiare un po' le cose, vale la pena rivolgere l' attenzione alla spina di pesce. In bianco e nero in una minuscola stampa chevron, questa trama tradizionale è eterna come i quadretti, ma sa fare la differenza.
• BORDI DI PELLICCIA
• È tempo di far emergere la nostra star interiore perché i cappotti con colletto e risvolto di pelliccia sono una tendenza “ritorno al passato” che ha avuto un impatto serio questo inverno. Che si tratti del famoso stile Saks Potts o di uno degli impressionanti omaggi al moda del passato, questo è un cappotto che richiama tutta l'attenzione e non ha paura di farlo.
• CREMA
• Non tanto una tendenza ma più un'osservazione: i cappotti color crema sono ovunque in questo momento ed i più diffusi sui feed dei social media. Molto inclini a macchiarsi, non sono sicuramente il cappotto più pratico che si potrebbe scegliere, ma se avere un aspetto elegante è la vostra priorità, allora questa è la strada da percorrere.
• PELLE LUNGA
• Forse ha qualcosa a che fare con il fatto che Matrix stia ancora influenzando i nostri guardaroba fin dall'anno scorso, ma è più probabile che il ritorno del cappotto di pelle sia semplicemente dovuto al fatto che, beh, è cool. Certo, ci sono una miriade di opzioni nere, ma non escludete anche i toni più chiari, che sono attualmente quelli più di tendenza nei circoli della moda.

Yes, it's a topic very common these days, but as we finally find ourselves fully immersed in winter, it's now that the biggest coat trends have truly become known. 

There are coats that feel the freshest and are yet to be overdone, making them the ideal addition to your outerwear line-up should you be looking to fill a gap or simply want to start the incoming cold weeks on a sartorial high.

So, here are the trends that will be the most important for the rest of the season. 

From the shade that never fails to look chic (but that you'll ultimately want to keep any mulled wine at arm's length from) to the cute fastening that might leave you feeling nostalgic for your youth, continue on to see which coat trends will ensure you enter the colder months on a stylish note—and that you'll also love to wear for years to come. 

• SUPER SHEARLING
• Shearling has been bubbling under the surface for a while now, but it seems that trend has finally peaked. Instead of merely lining coats, the fabric is now gracing the exterior of this season’s hottest outerwear. The shearling option is proving to be a favourite amongst the fashion set, and there are plenty of faux iterations at your disposal should you have a budget. 
• MONOCHROME HERRINGBONE
• When it comes to choosing a winter coat, checks are always reliable. Timeless, yes, but becoming tedious? Maybe that's a bit harsh—we still love wearing our checked coats after all—but if you're looking to change things up a bit, turn your attention to herringbone. Black and white in a tiny chevron print, this traditional weave is as everlasting as checks but will give your outerwear collection a point of difference.
• FURRY-TRIMMED
• It's time to channel your inner silver-screen starlet because furry-collared and cuffed coats are the throwback trend making a serious impact this winter. Whether it's the Insta-famous Saks Potts style or one of the high street's impressive homages, this is a coat that wants all the attention and is not afraid who knows it.
• FULL CREAM
• Not so much of a trend but more of an observation—cream coats are everywhere right now and more prevalent on our social media feeds than ever before! Prone to staining, they're not the most practical coat you could opt for, but if looking sleek is your priority, then this is the way to go.
• LONGLINE LEATHER
• Perhaps it's something to do with the fact that The Matrix is still influencing our wardrobes since the reboot last year, but chances are the leather coat's return is simply because, well, they're just so darn sleek. Of course, there are a plethora of black options out there, but don’t miss the lighter tones that are currently trending in fashion circles.
