Uno sguardo al gruppo di esperti di street style presenti alle recenti sfilate di moda è sufficiente per capire che i capi ots o i top e gli abiti asimmetrici sono ancora di tendenza, e nemmeno in un modo troppo difficile da portare. 

Realizzati in materiali adatti all'autunno come il bel tessuto a spina di pesce, il velluto morbido o il popeline croccante, questi capi sono già in corsa per diventare must anche per i mesi freddi. 

Sono infatti uscite perfino le versioni in maglia dei classici top ots estivi, come la felpa con cappuccio bordata di piume di Christopher Kane o il maglione monospalla a coste di Jacquemus. 

La classica silhouette a spalle scoperte a righe nautiche continua la tendenza in prima linea anche per l'autunno introducendo materiali più pesanti come i tessuti jacquard che possono essere indossati con solo una giacca sopra. 

In alterantiva ci si può anche rivolgere ai modelli con scollo all'americana con ritagli sulle spalle per aggiungere un po' di struttura e carattere ad un'outfit. 

Fanno molto Donna Karan (da " i sette pezzi facili" degli anni '80), soprattutto se sono body, così non dovete neppure preoccuparvi che la spalla possa scivolare completamente sotto il cappotto. 

Invece i top monospalla offrono più supporto e anche copertura ( che, con il freddo, non guasta). 

Le più modaiole probabilmente approfitteranno della stagione delle feste natalizie per sfoggiare questi modelli, grazie al loro intrinseco fascino da sera. 

Sono sicura infatti che questo sia un dettaglio che vedremo soprattutto per la notte di Capodanno perché è un modo inaspettato e sexy per mostrare la pelle.. 

E per prevenire il freddo, basterà indossarci sopra una bella (eco)pelliccia o una sciarpa e assicurarsi di avere una macchina pronta.

One look at the savvy street-style bunch at recent fashion shows is enough to show that the ots or asymmetric top and dresses are still trending—and not in a trying-too-hard kind of way. 

Cast in fall-friendly fabrics like handsome herringbone, plush velvet, and crisp poplin, the top is making a run at becoming your fashion staple for the cold months, too. 

There are also knit versions, courtesy of a feather-trimmed hoodie by Christopher Kane and a ribbed one-shoulder sweater by Jacquemus.

The classic off-the-shoulder silhouette in nautical stripes seems continuing the trend for fall by introducing heavier materials like a weighty jacquard that can be worn with a jacket.

On the other side you can looking for halter-neck styles with shoulder cut-outs instead of peasant-inspired tops to add a bit of structure to your ensemble. 

Those feel very Donna Karan, like 1980s seven easy pieces, especially if they’re bodysuits. You don’t have to worry about it falling off entirely under your coat. 

One-shoulder tops offer more support, too.

The fashion flock will probably sport the silhouette even through the holiday party season, thanks to its inherent nighttime appeal. 

I’m sure we are going to be seeing it throughout New Year’s Eve because it still is an unexpected way to show skin.. To prevent a case of cold shoulders, just wearing a great fur or scarf, and be sure to take a car.
