F/W 2022/23 FASHION TRENDS FROM THE FASHION SHOWS: The Textiles

TENDENZE MODA A/I 2022 DALLE PASSERELLE: I Tessuti

-ITA-

Designers keep on draw ideas from the 2000s fashion: a mix of styles, colors, and materials to create layered looks that recall a nostalgia of that era but, at the same time, prove to be effective for facing the colder seasons (which are increasingly uncertain) , where fabrics are the masters.

And, more, there is real looting from digital culture, mybe trying to geet the attention of the younger generation, traveling through Metaverse and living on TikTok (the recycled jeans, sweatshirts, miniskirts and Parisian socks).
A hint of the 60s, a touch of fetish and daring enough: these are the ingredients at the base of what will soon become our new fashion obsession.
It gonna be difficult to remain immune to the charm of an ultra-luminous texture such as patent leather, especially after having seen it declined on trousers, knee-length skirts and jumpsuits. The secret to show off this trend at its best? Avoid excesses. One piece at a time will be enough to give a different twist to even the simplest look.
Not to mention the coats for the next cold season: gonna be very soft and enveloping.
In Mongolian or fluffy faux fur, colorful and fun like those spotted by Coperni.
In short, all combos to be copied.
And then: trendy colors, stylish details and innovative fabrics to enhance our looks.
Here are the best fabrics trends from tenree present the coming months!

  • lacquering and painting

  1. Your familiarity with and knowledge of fabrics and fashion trends is very impressive!
I love learning about and seeing the vast majority of these trending fashion designs, fabrics, and styles!
Perhaps unsurprisingly one of my favourite looks is
the Gucci pre-fall crocheted lace skirt (styled with over-the-shoulder lace opera gloves, black full coverage full brief panties and cowboy hat) on the left-hand side of the 31st image (not including the header photo). I also love the layered white tulle Giambattista Valli Fall 2022 wedding dress in the lower right corner of the (36th?) image.
    Fabulous fabrics and fashion trends!!!

  5. Hey Silvia,

More great insights from the latest fashion updates! I can really see a lot of 2000's references, as you well know I am not the biggest fan of 2000's fashion but hey it is here so let's take the things from this trend that could go well with our personal style ;)

I see that many fashion brands and designers are taking a look at their archives and pulling off a lot of designs from 2000's. Take a look at the bags of the season and let me know, many of them are staples from these years.

But what I like about these years is that you can see a lot of vibes of the 60s/70s, just as you said. So in the end fashion is a cycle and one thing feeds the other.

I see a lot of references to Versace, Valentino, the Yves Saint Laurent of 20 years ago... Let's see how these trends evolve and find a gap in our daily lives :)
