La Moda "Academic Grunge" dell'autunno/inverno 2022-23

Il gusto per gli stili accademici ha
subito uno sconvolgimento inaspettato nelle ultime sfilate AI22/23.
Seppur intrise di
sfumature decisamente ribelli, i designer hanno infatti incorporato diverse itrazioni di moda prese in prestito da aule studio, biblioteche e mense nelle loro collezioni.
Il look da college risuona di idee giovanili e senza tempo, ma l'atmosfera cupa della stagione - di fronte ad una realtà di crisi e guerra – ha aggiunto anche un tocco sovversivo al classico tema preppy.
Questo stile consente di identificarsi visivamente in un giovane
che torna dall’ università o dalla scuola, mentre il mondo è in uno stato
travagliato.
Ispirata ed accelerata dai ritorno di Gossip Girl, Euphoria e altre serie
ambientate al liceo, l'estetica #DarkAcademia è spuntata sui social media e si
è rapidamente diffusa sulle passerelle.
Dai set di gonne a pieghe e blazer a
quadri ai maglioni morbidi abbinati alle camicie maschili, lo stile scolastico sembra
però molto più casual rispetto all'estetica preppy consolidata finora.
Prendendo spunti dall cultura
grunge radicata negli anni 2000, sembra infatti adattarsi alle scelte di moda ispirate proprio al 2000, le preferite delle
coorti Millenial.
Per la FW22/23, i classici colletti a polo e le stampe classiche
sono quindi accompagnati da pantaloni larghi e mini orli per ricreare questa
distinta sensazione adolescenziale di inizio millennio.

The taste
for academic styles has experienced an unexpected upheaval across recent FW22/23
fashion shows.
Infused with distinctly rebellious undertones, in fact, many designers have
incorporated in their collections fashion traits taken from study halls, libraries and cafeterias.
The college look resonates of youthful and timeless ideas, yet the somber feel of the season – facing a reality of crisis and war – is adding a subversive edge to the classic prep theme.
This style allows you to visually identify yourself as a young student coming back from college or school, while the world is in a
troubled state.
Inspired and accelerated
by the returns of Gossip Girl, Euphoria and other high school series, a
#DarkAcademia aesthetic has been popping-up across social media and trickled
down on to the runways.
From sets of pleated skirts and boxy blazers to the slouchy sweaters over masculine shirts, the scholastic style feels more
casual than established prep aesthetics now.
And with the grunge culture being rooted
in the 2000s , it even suits the Y2K fashion choices across Millenial cohorts.
So, for FW22/23, classic polo collars and classic prints are accompanied by baggy
pants and mini hemlines to recreate this distinct 00s teenage feel.

The delicate feminine ruffles, bows and puff sleeves of the blouse styled in the first OOTD look beautiful!

The schoolgirl styling of the third OOTD also looks fabulous.
I am loving all of the ruffles, ribbons, bows and pleats incorporated into these college looks.

RispondiEliminaI totally relate to the facts you are telling in this article: lately the current events (inflation, war, economic crisis and other sociopolitical issues) are affecting the way we move around fashion and that has happened before with similar events. But that is the important thing about fashion, it evolves with the context.
I love the preppy academic grunge fashion style, I feel that inside this topic there are many other subtopics that can be explored! I was actually thinking about Dark Academia and I suddenly read it on the article too ;)
