Quindi, ora che sappiamo cos'è, vediamo come mettere insieme un outfit monocromatico. 

Da dove iniziare? Il primo passo è forse il più semplice: iniziate selezionando il colore che volete indossare. 

Assicuratevi però che stia bene con il tono della pelle e dei capelli e che vi faccia sentire a vostro agio. La cosa peggiore che potreste fare è infatti indossare un colore che non vi doni o smorzi il vostro umore in qualche modo. 

Come esercizio per imparare a padroneggiare lo stile monocromatico, provate a tirar fuori dall’armadio tutti i capi che avete nel colore che volete indossare. Assicuratevi di prendere proprio tutti i pantaloni, le gonne, i vestiti, i cardigan, ecc. 

Una volta che avete pronti tutti i capi, iniziate a sperimentare combinando i tuoi pezzi in diversi outfit. Guardate cosa sta bene insieme, cosa non funziona e create dei look che fungereanno da base per i vostri futuri ensamble.

• Selezionate i colori giusti
• È importante scegliere un colore che si abbini bene al tono della pelle e ai capelli. • Mescolate tessuti e trame
• Assicuratevi di mescolare i tessuti all'interno del vostro outfit monocromatico! Questo è il modo più semplice per aggiungere interesse visivo, profondità e personalità al look in modo che non risulti unidimensionale o noioso. Una texture brillante per es. riesce a portare un look a un livello completamente nuovo. Oppure un maglione voluminoso a trecce può compensare l'eleganza di un dolcevita e un fedora. Alcune combinazioni di texture che potete provare sono denim e chiffon, pelle e cotone, camoscio e seta, lana e paillettes. E non dimenticate le scarpe o gli stivali: svolgono un ruolo essenziale nell'aggiungere interesse al look. • Make sure you mix textures within your monochromatic outfit! This is an easy trick if you want to add visual interest, depth, and dimension to your look so it’s not one-dimensional or boring. A shiny texture for ex. bring an outfit to a whole new level. Or a bulky sweater with the cable knit can offset the sleekness of a turtleneck and a fedora.Some texture combinations you can try pairing together are denim and chiffon, leather and cotton, suede and silk, wool and sequins. And don’t forget your shoes or boots when it comes to texture. They play a role in adding interest to your outfit. Consider how leather, patent, suede, or satin shoes will work with the outfit you’re trying to create.
