I designer hanno lavorato in circostanze estremamente insolite negli ultimi mesi, più o meno nel vuoto, rivolgendosi ad un pubblico le cui vite sono cambiate radicalmente e, in generale, mostrando le loro collezioni virtualmente o in ambienti molto intimi. 

Eppure la creatività regna. E tra i materiali che sono stai più utilizzati recentemente c’è stata proprio lei, la (finta) pelle!

• La stagione della pelle
• Le temperature più fresche dell'autunno significano che è ora di sfoggiare i nostri nuovi capi di (finta) pelle. La morbida pelle è infatti stata onnipresente nelle collezioni, che si tratti di una camicia, di un vestito o anche di una tuta. Nanushka è indubbiamente uno dei marchi che lo fa meglio, quindi investire in un pezzo di quest'etichetta è un must.
• Un po' di colore
• Le sfumature più vivaci sono entrate gioco. La palette di colori di questo autunno può apparire strana, fuori luogo, magari anche leggermente distorta e inaspettata, ma potete star certe che entrerà nei cuori di tutte. Il senape incontra il limone da Jil Sander, rosa bubblegum e calendula da Miu Miu, ruggine e lavanda da Patou: tonalità complementari e secondarie della ruota dei colori tutte mescolate e capovolte. Last months designers have been working in exceedingly unusual circumstances, in a vacuum, catering to an audience whose lives are forever changed—and ultimately showing their collections virtually or in very intimate settings. 

And yet, creativity reigns. 

For fall 2021, the collections were full of exciting news and interesting ideas, and among all the (faux) leather was under the spotlights. So, let’see what's in store for next season!

• Embrace Leather Weather
• Autumn's cooler temps mean you can break out your new leather pieces. Buttery soft leather will always be in, whether it's a shirt, dress, or even a jumpsuit. Nanushka is one of the brands that does this best, so investing in a piece from the label is a must.
• A Little Off Color
• Saturated shades have entered the conversation. The color play is off-kilter, slightly skewed, and unexpected for the season—a little like life itself. It's mustard meets lemon at Jil Sander, bubblegum pink and marigold at Miu Miu, rust and lavender at Patou—complementary and secondary hues of the color wheel all mixed up and topsy-turvy. All the better to make you look twice.
