OOTD: How to Style Brown

 Come Abbinare Il Marrone

Meno dure del nero, le varie sfumature del marrone sono la grande novità di questa stagione, dopo l'infatuazione estiva per la sua controparte più leggera, il terracotta. 

Le tonalità più autunnali hanno dominato le passerelle A/I2021 22, con marchi tra cui Chloé, Fendi, Rochas, Tod's e Jacquemus in testa. 

Ecco allora una piccola guida su come abbinare al meglio i vostri marroni preferiti!

• Aggiungete un po' di consistenza
• Non abbiate paura di mescolare diverse tonalità di marrone.
•  Potete mescolare diverse tonalità di marrone soprattutto se un look completamente monocromatico vi sembra troppo pesante. Potete abbinare il beige o il color cuoio con un marrone cioccolato fondente, ad es.,  per un risultato molto sofisticato.
• Aggiungete un cappotto marrone
• Il modo più semplice per iniziare con la tendenza del marrone è acquistare un bel cappotto marrone. Probabilmente ne avrete anche già uno nell’ armadio, quindi iniziate da lì e lasciate che il capo di abbigliamento marrone diventi la star del look. 
• Ma anche se optate per un outfit non tonale, lasciate che il capo di abbigliamento marrone sia il protagonista. 
• Per farlo basterà scegliere un capo di abbigliamento marrone che abbia un po' di drammaticità. Ad esempio un cappotto sartoriale di un bel tessuto pesante o un bel vestito voluminoso. Il marrone può essere anche considerato un colore “neutro”, quindi se vogliamo che risalti di più, dobbiamo assicurarci che sia il punto focale dell'outfit. Se l'outfit è abbastanza minimale, ad es. la forma e la trama di una borsa marrone ne faranno immediatamente la star del look.
• Aggiungete qualche accenno di nero
• Gli accessori neri possono aiutare a spezzare un outfit marrone. Se l’outfit è marrone chiaro, beige o cuoio, una cintura nera di tendenza sarà un modo semplice per spezzare la silhouette ed evidenziare il punto vita, ad es. Se invece avete optato per una tonalità marrone più scura, un capo di abbigliamento nero è un ottimo modo per aggiungere un po' di equilibrio.
• Non abbiate paura di una stampa marrone
• Le stampe marroni come la pelle di serpente nei toni del marrone o una stampa leopardata in marrone sono un modo semplice per iniziare a incorporare il marrone nel guardaroba. Less harsh than black, shades of brown are big news this season, following summer's preoccupation with its lighter counterpart, terracotta. 

The autumnal hue dominated the catwalks this season, with brands including Chloé, Fendi, Rochas, Tod's and Jacquemus leading the trend. 

Here is a mini guide to make sure you stay on-trend!

• Add some texture
• Don’t be afraid to mix different shades of brown
• You can mix different shades of brown if a full monochrome look is too much.  You can pair beige or tan with a dark chocolate brown for a very sophisticated look. 
• Add a brown coat
• The easiest way to start with the brown color trend is to add a brown coat. You probably already have one in your closet, so start there!
• Let your brown piece of clothing be the star
• If you opt for a non-tonal outfit, let the brown article of clothing be the star.  You can do this by choosing a brown clothing piece that has a bit of drama.  For instance a coat that has a lot of texture, or a dress with volume.  Brown can be a “neutral” color, so if we want it to stand out more, you have to make sure it is the focal point of the outfit. If the outfit is fairly minimal, an unique shape and texture of a brown bag make it the star of the outfit.
• Add a few hints of black
• Black accessories can help break up a brown outfit.  If your outfit is tan, beige, or light brown a statement black belt is an easy way to break up your silhouette and highlight your waist. If you opt for a darker brown shade, a black complimentary piece of clothing is a great way to add some balance. 
• Don’t be afraid of a brown print
• Brown prints like brown snakeskin or a brown leopard print is an easy way to start incorporating brown into your wardrobe.  This is also an easy way for the brown shade print to the be the focal point of the outfit.
