Il modo più semplice per trovare un vestito perfetto per una festa con codice di abbigliamento casual elegante rimane, tuttavia, semplicemente cercare un capo di abbigliamento jacquard.
• SCARPE  
• Come per le scarpe, i tacchi possono essere più alti del solito. Però i platform sarebbe meglio evitarli. Così come i sandali o gli stivali (gli stivali non sono in generale una scelta eccellente per un evento serale), potreste, al limite, indossare degli stivaletti.

So, what to wear for a smart casual formal holiday party?

• CLOTHING
• An elevated little black dress is more than a perfect choice for women. Go for a little black dress in more luxurious materials or jacquard that give a glimpse of decadence. Or chose an embellished little black dress. The embellishment on your dress should substitute the statement pieces of jewellery. Not forget to mention, your little black dress shouldn’t be more than two finger-widths above the knees. Another alternative to the little black dress is the midi black dress. Go for a pencil type of dress. An A-type of the midi dress is business casual. If you prefer to wear a skirt and a blazer instead of a dress, you wear a short skirt suit. The easiest way to find a perfect formal holiday party outfit when the dress code is smart casual is, however, simply to look for a jacquard piece of clothing.
• SHOES
• As it goes for the shoes, your heels can be higher than usual. Yet, platforms are still not in order. Nor are sandals or boots. Boots are not an excellent choice for an evening event, after all. You could, however, put on ankle boots.
• MAKEUP
• Your makeup can be bolder this time. Still, don’t exaggerate and don’t wear glitter. Go for a dark smokey makeup, spiced up with coloured eyeliner that will give that special edge to your entire look. Choose a classy red lipstick over the bright ones. No glitter on your nails, please.
