Molti look delle passerelle hanno dimostrato che molte tendenze della moda degli anni '80 sono tornate anche per il 2021/22, e non lasceranno i nostri armadi tanto presto.

• Pellicce oversize
• Lo stile outdoor degli anni '80 era tutto incentrato sul lusso. L'ambientazione ideale era quella di un club, dove indossare i look più favolosi e sorprendenti. Sebbene le lussuose pellicce fossero precedentemente riservate alle élite, improvvisamente hanno dominato lo stile di tutte le donne. E la creazione della pelliccia ecologica ha forse cambiato nuovamente il modo in cui si pensa a questo capo. Le pellicce etiche sono infatti sul mercato da più di un secolo, ma solo recentemente hanno iniziato a sembrare un’opzione largamente accettabile.

• E’ stata forse una delle migliori e più popolari serie tv degli anni ottanta. Alexis Carrington Colby, che interpretava il ruolo di una donna letale ed alla moda, era amata anche in virtù del suo abbigliamento campy. I suoi abiti con le ruches, i tailleur e i look esagerati sono diventati indimenticabili, arrivando ad avere un account Instagram dedicato esclusivamente a commemorare i suoi outfit. Nel corso degli anni, i tailleur  hanno affiancato il movimento femminista e l'emancipazione femminile e sono diventati la rappresentazione delle potenti donne d'affari, dato che proprio negli anni 80 sempre più donne si sono unite alla forza lavoro ai più alti livelli.
• Giacche di pelle
• Sebbene immortalate da diversi momenti iconici della moda degli anni '80, come il video musicale Beat It di Michael Jackson e il tour Who's That Girl di Madonna del 1987, le giacche di pelle sono diventate di moda molto prima dell'inizio del decennio. Negli ultimi trent'anni, l'umile giacca da moto è stata il simbolo di sottoculture giovani e ribelli come i Greasers degli anni '50, i Youthquake degli anni '60 e i punk degli anni '70. Se non avete già questo iconico capospalla nel guardaroba, questo inverno è il momento ideale per farlo. La pelle è stata una delle più grandi tendenze in fatto di tessuti della stagione Autunno/Inverno 2021 e sembra proprio che continuerà ad esserlo considerato quanto si è vista sulle passerelle di Alberta Ferretti, Altuzarra, Hermes, Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton, Paco Rabanne e tanti altri.

• Durante gli anni '70 e '80, Cher e Bob Mackie hanno collaborato a diversi look audaci che sono entrati nella storia della moda. Il duo è famoso soprattutto per aver reso popolare l'abito "nudo" quando Cher ha indossato l'indimenticabile vestito trasparente con le piume di Mackie al Met Gala del 1974. In effetti, la maggior parte dei momenti più memorabili della moda della pop star, come i suoi abiti per gli Oscar del 1986 e del 1988, sono stati creati dal famoso stilista. La famosa amicizia di Cher e Mackie è stata fonte di ispirazione per innumerevoli designer nei decenni successivi. • Oversized Fur Coats
• The 80s outdoor style was all about luxury. A club setting was a place to put on your fabulous and wildest outfit. Although luxurious fur coats were previously reserved for the elites, they still dominated the eighties style. The creation of faux fur has perhaps changed the way people think of fur coats. Ethical fur coats might have been in the market for more than a century, but they have recently started to feel and look like the best thing.
• Dynasty-Inspired Power Suits
• Dynasty was possibly one of the best shows premiered in the eighties. Alexis Carrington Colby, who played the role of a fashionable lethal woman, was loved for her campy attire. Her ruffled dresses, power suits, and over-the-top looks were unforgettable, making an Instagram account to be created to commemorate her outfits. Over the years, power suits have shown the feminist movement and female empowerment. Suits became a representation of powerful businesswomen in the 1980s as more and more women joined the workforce.
• Leather Jackets
• Though immortalized by iconic 80s fashion moments, such as Michael Jackson's  Beat It music video and Madonna's 1987 Who's That Girl tour, leather jackets came into style long before the decade began. Over the past three decades, the humble moto jacket had been a symbol of young, rebellious subcultures like 50s Greasers, 60s Youthquake, and 70s Punks. If you haven't already added this iconic outerwear style to your wardrobe, this winter is the ideal time to do it. Leather was one of the biggest fabric trends of the Fall/Winter 2020 season. The luxe textile was seen on the runway at Alberta Ferretti, Altuzarra, Hermes, Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton, Paco Rabanne, and more. 
• Black Lace
• Throughout the 70s and 80s, Cher and Bob Mackie collaborated on several daring looks that have gone down in fashion history. The duo is credited for popularizing the "naked" dress when Cher wore Mackie's unforgettable feather-trimmed sheer dress to the 1974 Met Gala. In fact, most of the pop star's memorable fashion moments, like her 1986 and 1988 Oscars dresses, were created by the famed fashion designer. Cher and Mackie's famous friendship has served as a source of inspiration for countless designers in the decades since. Lace, macrame, woven, crochet, and netted textures dominated the spring runways. The unique fabrics felt less bohemian and more luxe than ever before, as designers employed local artisans and craftsmen to create high-end handmade textiles. • Today's statement belts are less about the size and more about the price tag. Logo belts were one of the biggest trends of the 2010s, and they're already shaping up to be one of the hottest accessories for fall winter 2021/22.
