Rieccomi qui dopo la pausa estiva: ormai si parla praticamente solo della moda autunnale (giustamente) ma nonostante siamo a Settembre ci aspetta ancora qualche settimana di tempo relativamente caldo e bello da sfruttare, e sarebbe decisamente prematuro tuffarsi subito nei trend che ci aspettano i prossimi mesi. 

Che fare quindi? Bè, credo che la scelta migliore sia fare le cose gradualmente, cercando di passare dai costumi ai maglioni nel modo più soft e ragionevole possibile, magari sfruttando quei trend estivi che si protraranno anche nei mesi più freddi. 

E in cima alla top list di questi ultimi ci sono sicuramente loro: volant e balze.

Molto probabilmente dopo più di un anno di restrizioni e abbigliamento da casa, (quasi) tutti vogliono mettersi in ghingheri.  

In ogni caso c'è sicuramente una certa voglia strisciante di voler vestirsi di nuovo bene, sia che si tratti di un vestito di tulle o di un paio di scarpe col tacco.  

E una volta che sarà nuovamente sicuro tenere cene o incontrarsi con gli amici, vorremo di certo avere qualche look stravagante a portata di mano.  

Anche se c’è una nuova volontà generale di investire in capi essenziali e durevoli, l'ultimo periodo è stato tutto minimalismo e pezzi senza tempo e di alta qualità. Forse troppo.  

Ed infatti abbiamo l'abbigliamento da casa di lusso, i set coordinati in maglia e le calzature comode.  

Allo stesso modo, c’è altrettanta voglia di novità e divertimento.  

Nelle collezioni Primavera/Estate, così come in quelle Autunno/Inverno 2021, infatti, le balze sono apparse su abiti di etichette come Valentino, Oscar de la Renta e Molly Goddard.  

Quasi a contrapporsi all'abito utility e al completo maschile che continua a spopolare tanto sulle passerelle quanto sulle strade.  

Insomma c’è in gioco un contrasto interessante. Ma tanto per non sbagliare tuffiamoci nella tendenza, che sia  con uno bello short con le ruches o con un semplice top.

Here I am again after the summer break! Right now you can hear almost everywhere talking lonly of the fall fashion (rightly) but, despite we are in September, we still have a few weeks of relatively warm and beautiful weather to take advantage of, and it would be definitely premature to dive immediately into the trends that await us in the next months. What to do then? Well, I think the best choice would be to do things gradually, trying to go from swimsuits to sweaters in the softest and most reasonable way possible, maybe taking advantage of those summer trends that will keep on going even in the colder season.  

And at the top of the top list of the latter there are them: frills.

Probably after more than a year of restrictions and loungewear, (almost) everybody wants to feel put together.

There is definitely an appetite from our community to dress up again, whether that is in a tulle dress or a pair killer heels. Once it's safe to host dinners or get togethers with friends again in 2021, you'll want to have a fancy look at your disposal again.

There is a general willingness to invest in wardrobe staples. It was all about minimalism and timeless, high-quality pieces this year. This can be found through luxe loungewear, ribbed matching sets, and comfortable footwear. Likewise, this goes for accessories. Maybe too much.

In fact in the Spring/Summer, as wella as Fall/Winter 2021 collections, ruffles appeared on gowns from labels like Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, and Molly Goddard. 

This like juxtaposing to the utilitarian and menswear suiting also seeing on the runways and the streets. It creates an interesting contrast. 

So, dive into the trend with a ruffled skort set, or start slow with a simple top.
