Non so voi, ma quest'anno accolgo con favore qualsiasi opportunità di sostituire i pantaloni della tuta e i leggins con qualcosa di piacevolmente diverso, specialmente ora che ci avviciniamo alla stagione più calda. 

Fortunatamente, le collezioni P / E '21 hanno tirato fuori un sacco di tendenze fresche (e comode) che non vedo l'ora di provare, tra cui anche diverse novità per quanto riguarda le gonne. 

Sembra passata una vita da quando ho indossato una bella gonna l’ultima volta, quindi praticamente tutti gli stili più stravaganti che hanno abbellito le passerelleSS 2021 hanno catturato la mia attenzione. 

• Per prima cosa questa primavera gli orli si accorciano tantissimo. Le  micro mini hanno dominato le collezioni, forse la conseguenza indiretta di un 2020 così pieno di restrizioni di ogni tipo. Da abbinare a ballerine e semplici top in maglia. 
• Le gonne a portafoglio sono invece tornate alla ribalta, grazie a tutta una serie di designer da Peter Do a Miu Miu che hanno dato una svolta fresca a questo capo senza tempo. La parte migliore? Sono super facili da abbinare a qualsiasi cosa, dalle magliette bianche basiche ai body, fino ai maglioni di cotone crochet. 
• Il modo più chic per portare la gonna in questa stagione? Come parte di un completo o di un set coordinato, ovviamente! Questi due pezzi carini e divertenti sono stati visti in una varietà di stili, stampe, tessuti e silhouette che saranno senza dubbio uno dei trend più facili e chic da indossare questa primavera/estate.

I don’t know about you, but this year I’m welcoming any opportunity to break out of my sweatpants and leggins into something refreshingly different—especially as we move into a warmer season ahead. 

Luckily, the S/S 21 collections brought a lot of cool (and comfortable) trends that I can’t wait to try this year—including a handful of exciting skirt trends. 

It feels like a lifetime since I’ve actually worn a proper skirt so all the striking styles that graced the runways have captured my attention more than ever.

• Say hello to sky-high hemlines this spring. Micro minis dominated the collections—perhaps the indirect consequence of such a restricted 2020. Pair the fun and frivolous skirt with flats and a modest knit top.
• Wrap skirts are back in the limelight, thanks to a whole host of designers from Peter Do to Miu Miu giving a fresh spin to the timeless piece. The best part? They're so easy to style with everything from basic white tees to bodysuits and knit sweaters.
• What's the chicest ways to style your skirt this season? As part of a suit or coordinating set, of course. Cute and charming two-pieces were seen in a variety of styles, prints, fabrics, and silhouettes and will be one of the easiest and chicest no-think outfits you can throw on this spring.
