How to Get a Dark and Romantic Look for Halloween

Avete mai desiderato apparire un po’dark e misteriose ma senza dover cedere allo stile goth o hardcore? 

Halloween è l’occasione giusta per provare un look dark romantico. 

Insomma quel genere di look che dona un tocco morbido e grazioso allo stile dark.

Non sapete da dove iniziare per raggiungere il vostro obbiettivo? Ecco qualche spunto!

• Provate vestiti diversi dal solito. Indossate pizzo e capi con dettagli in stile vittoriano o steampunk, sono entrambi generi molto romantici e abbastanza inusuali da adattarsi bene ad un’occasione particolare come Halloween. Cercate quindi di rimanere aderenti ai colori più scuri ed evitate assolutamente i toni neon! Indossare qualche tocco di colore tuttavia potrebbe aiutarvi ad ottenere un aspetto più soft e a rendere il look più sofisticato, purchè scegliate toni polverosi e non troppo vivaci. Ad esempio, se volete indossare dei tocchi rosa, scegliete un cipria o un rosa scuro quasi malva e magari abbinateci un rossetto nella stessa tonalità accompagnato da un make up occhi scuro e drammatico.
• Perfezionate il make up. Per Halloween un rossetto rosso scuro è sempre un ottima soluzione, soprattutto se abbinato ad eyeliner e tanto mascara. Questo vi darà un look classico. Se invece desiderate un effetto più delicato, innanzi tutto decidete se mettere in risalto gli occhi o le labbra, magari con un rossetto rosso lacca e solo una linea di eyeliner grafico oppure con un morbido rossetto nude e uno smokey eye molto calcato. Per finire mettete in risalto una pelle d’avorio con l’illuminante e giusto un soffio di blush.
• I capelli: se non siete abili con le acconciature tenete presente che i cappelli possono essere i vostri migliori amici in questa occasione, e vi aiuteranno anche a definire il look. Naturalmente il cappello giusto deve esser stravagante ed assolutamente fuori dagli schemi! Provatene di diverse fogge fino a trovare quello perfetto per il vostro ensamble! 
• Cercate di indossare un collarino. I collarini sono perfetti con questo tipo di look. Cercate di non farlo sembrare però troppo goth. Nel caso aggiungete altre collane, bracciali, orecchini e anelli grossi con pietre scure o andate sul total silver.

Do not know where to start to reach your goal? Here are some ideas!

• Try different clothing. Wearing lace and Victorian or steampunk style inspired details, they're both very romantic and unusual enough to fit well on a special occasion like Halloween. Try to stay close to the darker colors. Absolutely avoid neon tones! Still, wearing some touch of color will give you a softer edge and will make your ensamble looks more sophisticated. For example, if you want to wear pink touches, pair a lipstick in the same shade with a dark and dramatic eye make-up.
• Perfect your makeup.  For Halloween, a dark red lipstick is always great, paired with dark eyeliner and a lot of mascara. This will give you a classic look. If you want to go softer, instead, choose whether to highlight the eyes or lips; with a dark lipstick and just a line of eyeliner and lot of mascara or with a soft nude lipstick and a very flashy smokey eye. Then highlight an ivory skin with highlighter and a very little touch of blush.
• The hair: if you are not skilled with hairstyles, keep in mind that hats are your best friends and will even help you to define your look. Of course it should be extravagant and absolutely out of the box! Try different styles until you find the perfect one! 
• Try to pull off a choker. Chokers are awesome with this look. Try not to make it look goth though. In case you add other necklaces, bracelets, earrings and chunky rings with dark stones or go all in silver.
