Le minigonne si stanno preparando per diventare il capo must-have del 2023. 

E contrariamente a quanto si potrebbe pensare, le mini lunghezze non sono appropriate solo per donne sottili o sotto i 25 anni: possono apparire chic e raffinate su chiunque, a condizione che si conosca qualche trucco per indossarle al meglio. 

Ecco allora alcuni consigli per indossare la minigonna nel 2022/3 in modo adulto e alla moda.

• Optare per gonne che non siano né troppo strette né troppo morbide
• Pensate ad una linea ad A snella. Le gonne troppo svolazzanti (cioè le minigonne arricciate o plissettate) possono apparire troppo giovanili o fuori contesto, e le gonne a tubino attillate sono un po' troppo sexy per la vita di tutti i giorni. Cercate una mini in un tessuto un po' strutturato che si allontani dai fianchi per quel perfetto equilibrio tra ampio e aderente.
• Non andare sul troppo corto
• L'orlo non deve essere così alto da correre il rischio di mostrare gli slip ogni volta che ci si siede. Questo è particolarmente importante soprattutto per le donne alte. Cercate piuttosto gonne che arrivino almeno circa 10cm sopra il ginocchio se vi imbrarazza mostrare troppa gamba. Apparirete alla moda senza esporre troppa pelle
• Gonne corte e giacche lunghe sono un abbinamento perfetto
• La combinazione di un trench o uno spolverino con una mini dà l'illusione di un look piuttsto pudico senza in realtà coprire le gambe (dopotutto, se scegliete un mini è perché le volete mostrare le gambe, no?), dando al tutto un'allure molto più adulta. E no, non è necessario scegliere un set coorodinato per far funzionare questo look.
• Il bianco e nero è sempre una buona idea
• Questo è un trucco particolarmente adatto per le ragazze minute: stratificare una maglia bianca su una gonna bianca aiuta ad allungare il busto ed a garantire che le proporzioni siano giuste nonostante l'orlo corto. Un altro consiglio per allungare la silhouette? Optate per stivali (preferibilmente con tacco piatto o basso, data l'altezza dell'orlo della gonna) in una tonalità di marrone o beige che si avvicini al tono della pelle. Darà l'impressione di gambe lunghissime indipendentemente dalla vostra altezza.
• Preferite scarpe o tacchi bassi
• I tacchi alti risultano super sexy con un mini abito o una minigonna, ma per un look casual da giorno sono semplicemente troppo. Gli stivali piatti o un tacco basso, (stiamo parlando di 5 cm al massimo) non sono solo più facili da indossare, ma vi aiuteranno anche a tenere sotto controllo le proporzioni.
• Provate un completo con la gonna in un colore neutro
• La sartoria è una tendenza sorprendente che sta raccogliendo sempre più favore: bastano una minigonna e una giacca corta coordinata dal buon taglio per un look da lavoro adulto ed alla moda. Ciò è particolarmente vero se si opta per colori come blu navy, nero o grigio scuro. Per quanto riguarda le scarpe, preferite stivali di pelle alti fino al ginocchio o mocassini piatti per mantenere quelle vibrazioni professionali.
• Se volete sfoggiare i calzini, teneteili corti
• Un calzino dai colori vivaci o a rete che fa capolino da un paio di mocassini o scarpe da ginnastica può essere un modo carino per aggiungere un po' di personalità ad un look. Ma se indossati con una minigonna, i calzini più alti tendono a far pensare subito ad un'uniforme scolastica. And contrary to what you may think, mini lengths aren’t just appropriate for slender women or those under the age of 25—they can look chic and polished on anyone, provided you know some trick to pull them off. 

So, here are some tips for wearing a mini skirt in 202/32 like a stylish adult.

• Opt for Skirts That Are Neither Too Tight Nor Too Flowy
• What does this Goldilocks fit actually look like? Think slim-cut A-line. Skirts that are too flouncy (i.e. ruffled or pleated minis) can all too easily look very juvenile, and skin-tight pencil skirts or hip-hugging spandex is a bit too sexy for day-to-day. Look for a mini in a somewhat structured fabric that moves away from the hips for that perfect balance between loose and fitted.
• Don’t Go Too Short
• Your hem needn’t be so high as to run the risk of flashing your undies every time you sit down in order to get the leg-lengthening benefits of a mini. This is especially true for tall women. Look for skirts that hit about three inches above the knee if you feel self-conscious about showing too much leg. They’ll look just as trendy without exposing too much skin
• Short Skirts and Long Jackets Are a Match Made in Heaven
• The combination of a trench coat or duster and a mini gives the illusion of additional coverage without actually covering up your legs (after all, you chose a mini because you wanted to show off your stems, right?), making the whole thing feel much more grown up. And no, you don’t need to pick a matching set to make this tip work.
• Monochrome Is Always a Good Idea
• This is an especially good trick for petite gals: Layering an off-white knit over an off-white skirt helps to lengthen your torso and ensure your proportions look right despite a high hem. Another hot tip for lengthening your silhouette? Opt for boots (preferably with a flat or low heel) in a shade of brown or beige that’s close-ish to your skin tone. It’ll give the impression that you have mile-long legs, no matter your height.
• Stick with Flat Shoes or Low Heels
• High heels can look super sexy with a mini dress or skirt, but for a casual day look they’re just too much. Flat boots or a low heel—we’re talking 2-inches max—is not only easier to walk in, it will also help keep your proportions in check.
• Try a Neutral-Hued Skirt Suit
• Tailoring is a surprising trend popping up in 2022, but more than that, a mini skirt and coordinating cropped jacket look enough like workwear to feel grown-up rather than juvenile. This is especially true if you opt for navy, black or dark gray. As for shoes, try flat knee-high leather boots or flat loafers to keep those professional vibes going.
• If You Want to Show Off Your Socks, Keep Them Short
• Having a brightly-colored crew sock or ankle-height fishnet peep out from a pair of loafers or sneakers can be a cute way to add some depth to your look. But when worn with a mini skirt, higher socks tend to look very much like a school uniform. Keep your socks to ankle height at a maximum unless you’re headed to a Gilmore Girls costume party.
