TENDENZA AUTUNNO 2019: IL DENIM

Dalle passerelle allo street style il denim sembra onnipresente sui feed dei social media. 

E, tanto per cominciare, una cosa la possiamo dire con certezza: nel 2019 il jeans skinny non è più lo stile prevalente. 

Anche se la sua popolarità potrebbe non svanire mai del tutto, è chiaro che i jeans più ampi e rilassati sono di maggior tendenza. 

Tuttavia per l'autunno 2019, sono due le tendenze denim più calde, e sembrano contrapporsi. 

Da un lato, i jeans wide-leg stanno vivendo un momento di splendore. Quando si sfoggia questo stile, c’è una sola regola: più audace è il look, meglio è. 

Dall'altro lato, anche il denim super-sartoriale è di tendenza. Dai jeans a gamba dritta al paperbag, alcune delle tendenze più forti di questa stagione risultano comunque ancora molto minimaliste.

Come orientarsi dunque?

• Innanzi tutto cercate immagini di stili interessanti che vi piacciano. Sicuramente non tutte le idee di stile che troverete funzionano per tutti, ma le fotografie possono spesso essere utilizzate per farvi un'idea di ciò che vi piace di più e di come eventulamente abbinarlo.
• Se avete un'idea di un outfit che vorreste ricreare, fate sempre prima una prova e guardatevi bene in uno specchio a figura intera. Molte persone hanno un senso della moda migliore di quanto si rendano conto: provando il look prima di indossarlo, potrete studiare l'aspetto e determinare se funziona o meno su di voi. Se non riescite a farlo da sole, chiedete a un parente o amico una seconda opinione.

From the runways to the street style looks saturating our social media feeds. 

And, to begin with, one thing we can say: in 2019, the skinny jeans is no longer the prevailing style.  

While its popularity might never truly fade away, it’s clear that wider, more relaxed-fit jeans are trending. 
For autumn 2019, two hottest denim trends oppose each other on the formality spectrum. 
On one hand, wide-leg, maximalist jeans are having a moment. When sporting this style: the bolder, the better. 
On the other, fitted,super-tailored denim also is trending. From long, lean straight-leg jeans to ultra-crisp paperbag, some of this season’s jean trends still are rather buttoned up.
So how to orient in it?

• First of all, look up pictures of interesting styles created with denim. Not every style idea will work for every person, but photographs can often be used to spark an idea.
• If you have an idea of ​​an outfit that you would like to recreate, always do a test first, put it together and take a good look at yourself in a full-length mirror. Most people have a better fashion sense than they realize. By assembling the outfit before you wear it out, you can study the way it looks and determine if it works or not. If you cannot make that determination yourself, though, ask a relative or friend for a second opinion.
