LOOKS: How To Style Sweaters This Winter

Quando la sveglia suona ed è ancora buio fuori (per non parlare del freddo), è così facile infilarsi in in total look in nero o grigio, bene che va spezzato da un jeans. Fin troppo facile. 
Ma indossare un pò di colore può davvero migliorare la  giornata (e la vita). O almeno, renderla più leggera.

Ecco allora alcuni modi facili e veloci per aggiungere un pò di colore ai nostri ensamble di questo inverno.

• Rivalutate il blu
  Probabilmente anche voi avrete un sacco di cose in blu nell’armadio, ebbene sfruttatele! Così facendo otterrete un look monocromatico semplice come un look in nero, ma molto più luminoso e raffinato. L'abbinamento di tonalità leggermente diverse renderà poi l'aspetto del vostro outfit ancora più moderno e meno piatto. 
• Mescolate e abbinate le stampe
  Sì, si può gestire il mix & match anche di prima mattina con gli occhi assonnati. Basta tirare fuori fantasie che abbiano tonalità simili con un accento di colore ben definito che le caratterizzi tutte e che funga da filo conduttore. Il risultato sarà chic e tutt’altro che scontato. 
• Investite in pantaloni e gonne di (finta) pelle
  I pantaloni di pelle sono uno di quei capi che non si è mai sicure di indossare, finchè non li porti a casa e scopri che si coordinano con tutto. I pantaloni, e le gonne, in (finta) pelle creano un'ancora neutrale che funziona benissimo soprattutto con tutti i capi più "pesanti" come maglioni e cappotti oversize, e pellicciotti colorati. 
• Sfruttate i maglioni
  Ebbene sì, si possono indossare i maglioni con disegni e scritte stravaganti in pubblico, perfino in ufficio! Sceglieteli super comodi ma ben fatti e di un buon materiale, magari leggermente oversize e abbinateli a pantaloni a sigaretta sartoriali. Quindi aggiungete smalto al look con accessori strutturati, come una bella borsa in vernice  e stivaletti con il tacco. 
• Usate l’animalier come neutro
  Facile sostituzione: dove normalmente indossate uno strato nero, provate invece un pezzo in stampa animalier. Questo tipo di pattern risulta straordinariamente bene con righe, tinte unite e persino stampe grafiche.

When the alarm rings and it's still dark outside (not to mention the cold), it's so easy to slip into a plain black or gray total look. Easy. 

But wearing color can actually improve the day (and life). Or at least make it more bearable. 

Here are some ways to add some color to your winter wardrobe.

• Wear blue
• You probably have plenty of blue in your closet, so take advantage of them! The monochromatic blue will be as straightforward as a look in black, but brighter and way more refined. Pairing slightly different shades makes the look street-style-y, not flat.
• Prints mix and match
• Yes, you can handle the mix & match even in the early morning with sleepy eyes Just pull out patterns that have similar scales with one clear accent color running through all of them. The result will look chic and far from obvious.
• Invest (fake) leather pants
• Leather bottoms are one of those items that you are never sure to wear, as long as you do not take them home and discover that they coordinate with everything. (fake) leather pants create a neutral anchor for all structured garments, like oversized coats and sweaters and colorful fur coats.
• Take advantage of the sweaters
• Yes, you can wear Sunday sweaters in public, even in the office! Choose few super comfortable but well made, maybe slightly oversize, and match them with tailored pants. Then add polish to the look with structured accessories, such as a cute patent bag and heeled ankle boots.
• Use the animal prints as neutral
• Easy swap: where you’d normally wear a black layer, try a piece in animal print instead. The pattern plays extraordinarily fine with stripes, solids and even graphic prints.
