Ballerina: the secret of elegance

Tutù, tiara e scarpette da ballo: sono questi i capi che trasformano una ragazza qualunque in un'eterea ballerina, ma quando non si è in scena sono il portamento e l'eleganza dei movimenti che fanno la diffrenza.
Questo editoriale mi è sembrato perfetto per rapresentare questo concetto: gli abiti sono molto elaborati, fin troppo per essere immediatamente associati al mondo della danza, ma le pose e gli atteggiamenti degli interpreti li rendono assolutamente verosimili anche in un tale contesto.
Come ci insegnavano a scuola di danza: "una ballerina è perfetta nella danza e limpida nello stile: il portamento è l’essenza dell’eleganza". ;)

Tutu, tiara and ballet shoes: these are the pieces that transform an average girl into an ethereal dancer, but out of stage are the poise and elegance of the movements that make the difference.

This editorial seemed perfect to me for express this concept: these clothes are very elaborate, far too much to be immediately associated with the world of ballet, but the poses and attitudes of ballerinas who wear them make them absolutely plausible even in such a context.

As taught in dance school:" a ballerina is perfect in dance and clear in style: poise is the essence of elegance ". ;)

Eleganti, delicate e leggere come farfalle, sono queste le caratteristiche principali che definiscono l’aspetto delle ballerine, e chi non vorrebbe apparire così? ^^

Portare un po’ della loro magia anche nella vita di tutti i giorni è possibile, basta scegliere capi ed accessori ispirati al mondo della danza classica. Naturalmente colori tenui come azzurro, bianco, rosa cipria e acquamarina e tessuti leggeri e delicati sono le colonne portanti per questo genere di look, e poi ballerine con o senza tacco, scaldacuore che si chiudono con nastri, magliettine, pantaloni skinny e leggings, e naturalmente gonnelline, corte o di media lunghezza, arricciate e svolazzanti, magari in tulle: insomma tutto ciò che ispira un pò "aria di sala".

Ma perché questo look sia adatto ad essere indossato in città meglio aggiungere qualche elemento urban, un blazer, un paio di snickers, una cappellino, ecc, che dia l’idea di un look sportivo ma molto raffinato.

Per il trucco, si punta su effetto nude e un tocco di rosa su zigomi e labbra. Infine, i capelli vanno alzati in un bello chignon, lasciando libera qualche ciocca, per un effetto « vengo giusto da sei ore di prove... » ;)

La tendenza Ballerina è inscindibile dall’evento cinematografico del 2010: l’uscita del film Black Swan, che ha fatto vincere a Natalie Portman tutti i premi per la miglior interpretazione, tra cui un Oscar molto meritato. D’altronde, sono state le sorelle Rodarte ad aver disegnato i costumi del film di Darren Aronofsky. ;)

Se vi sentite più “cigno nero”, l’ombra, il seducente alter ego del lago dei cigni, optate per un look sensuale e raffinato ma molto studiato (il confine soft dark è molto sottile in questo caso, perciò attenzione) che affida al contrasto tra i colori bianco, nero e cipria il compito di mostrare la ferocia che può annidarsi dietro la grazia di un plié.

Per chi vuole interpretare al meglio l’altero cigno nero, poi, non può mancare un dettaglio piumato o in pizzo (nero), per un dare a tutto l'outfit profumo di mistero e seduzione.

Capelli tirati, trucco naturale che sottolinea gli occhi e pelle diafana e luminosa sono il complemento ideale per sottolineare la leggerezza di questo look ed evitare l’effetto femme fatale.

Ballerina: daily time

Le ragazze che cercano uno stile confortevole e allo stesso tempo molto femminile e delicato potranno ritrovarsi facilmente nella figura della ballerina.
Per il giorno si possono scegliere canottiere, scaldacuore, lacci, tulle, piccoli tutù e naturalmente le ballerine.
Anche i colori, tenui e pastello tipo rosa, grigio melange e bianco, e i materiali come raso tulle e jersey di cotone, sembrano presi direttamente dallo spogliatoio di una scuola di danza.
Naturalmente la libera interpretazione ci lascia libere di apportare sempre qualche variazione al tema: in generale ad una tendenza più frivola, delicata, molto frù frù si contrappone il look studiato-trasandato, post sala prove.
Questo rimane comunque uno stile grazioso e originale, mai aggressivo che si può facilmente adattare anche ai pantaloni rigorosamente skinny e possibilmente jeans; capelli legati e make up acqua e sapone completeranno il look da vera ballerina classica. :)

Ponendosi agli antipodi rispetto alla tendenza color block, la tendenza Ballerina celebra la grazia e la delicatezza.
Materiali eterei e trasparenti, colori nude e polvere, body e tutù sono i capi che la rappresentano.

Chiaramente, seguire questa tendenza non significa uscire per strada in tutù e scarpette da punte! Una gonna leggera sopra il ginocchio, con una t-shirt, un giacchino in jeans o un golfino aderente e un bel paio di ballerine vi renderanno graziose come un’étoile del balletto di Mosca, senza risultare troppo stravaganti

Ma per chi avesse ancora qualche timore ad avvicinarsi a questo stile, il mio consiglio è di iniziare a provarlo con un look per la sera, o magari per un party: un’occasione del genere vi permetterà di lasciarvi andare a rouches e dettagli in chiffon svolazzante senza tante preoccupazioni, e, una volta provato, sono sicura che anche voi vi innamorerete di questo stile! ;)

Course, follow this trend doesn't mean to go out on the street in Tutu and dancing shoes! E' un sogno che accomuna quasi tutte le bambine: volteggiare leggiadre sulle punte avvolte in una nuvola di tulle, con i capelli raccolti in un delicato chignon.
I riflettori accesi, il palco, gli applausi. O ancora, body rosa (o neri), calze bianche, scaldamuscoli, sbarra e specchi.
Insomma, il balletto classico è tra i primi desideri delle bimbe (quante di noi hanno passato interi pomeriggi a fare pliè ed arabesque sulle punte da piccole, tutte contente anche se quelle scarpette col gesso erano una tortura? ^^) ed, ammettiamolo, spesso quel mondo continua ad affascinarci anche da grandi.
Per chi ancora lo brama, le mise da ballerina sono tra le più accreditate per dar il benvenuto alla primavera fin dal 2010: una tendenza che vede protagonisti romanticismo e femminilità, magari non un look per tutti i giorni, ma decisamente perfetto per lasciarsi alle spalle il grigiore dell'inverno! :)

City girls: looks for everyone

La scelta del giusto abbigliamento, in generale, ma soprattutto in ambito lavorativo, è un aspetto importante che va a completare il nostro modo di porci nei confronti delle altre persone. È il nostro biglietto da visita, quello che mostriamo di noi ancor prima di mettere in gioco capacità e competenze.
Conformarsi ai dettami del look nell’ambiente di lavoro è piuttosto semplice se si parte dal presupposto che la prima regola è, come sempre, il buon senso ed il buon gusto: questo non presuppone si debba per forza rientrare nei canoni del “più è anonimo, meglio è”.
La personalità e lo stile sono un valore aggiunto e non dovrebbero essere mai messi da parte, basta semplicemente evitare tutto ciò che risulta essere troppo appariscente: per le donne sono da evitare trucchi eccessivamente vistosi, tacchi e plateau esagerati, gonne troppo corte, vestiti troppo attillati e scollature audaci.
Gli uomini in ufficio dovrebbero invece evitare i sandali, i calzoncini e le maglie completamente sbracciate.
La classe e l’ordine sono condizioni d’obbligo per l’abbigliamento di chiunque si trovi a vivere e lavorare in una grande città, per uomini e donne, ma questi non andrebbero mai confusi con l’austerità! ;)

Choosing the right clothing at work is an important aspect that completes our impression to other people. Is our business card, what you show us even before putting into play abilities and skills. Comply with the dictates of look in the working environment is rather simple if you assume that the first rule is, as always, common sense and good taste: this does not meant to be in the canons of "more anonymous is better".

City girls: something feminine

Una delle cose che odio di più riguardo l'abbigliamento "da ufficio" è il classico, banale tailleur grigio/nero da impiegata, corredato dalla più anonima delle camicie bianche e completato da pseudo decollettèe/mocassini generalmente con tacco quadrato di altezza indefinibile. X(
Ammetto di non avere esperienza di questo genere di ambiente lavorativo, ma dubito fortemente che conciarsi così possa in qualche modo giovare all'immagine che si dà di sè e delle proprie competenze professionali...
Per fortuna lo stile per l’abbigliamento a lavoro è molto cambiato, in tempi moderni è stato introdotto un look più casual e, benché i giorni dei completi (presumibilmente ben combinati) non siano ancora scomparsi, lo stile personale e il senso della moda sono più integrati nella visione del tradizionale grigio, nero o blu.
Perciò se proprio non si può evitare di indossare un completo, perchè non sceglierlo con linee più femminili (bellissimi quelli di ispirazione rètro), che valorizzino il corpo, e magari provare colori chiari e luminosi che donino luce al viso?
L'importante è seguire poche semplici regole per essere sicure di non apparire inadeguate:
- La gonna deve essere al ginocchio, più lunga sarebbe sciatta, e più corta sarebbe poco professionale.
- La giacca deve cadere perfettamente. Le maniche (se lunghe) devono arrivare a coprire l’inizio della mano, oltre il polso (...ma perchè non provare una manica 3/4, molto più chic?)
- Scarpe modeste rovineranno l’insieme, le ballerine non sembrano professionali, invece i tacchi (specialmente quellis sottili) migliorano la postura e danno una marcia in più a tutto il look.
- E’ doveroso indossare le calze
- Con gioielli ed accessori ci si può sbizzarrire, ma senza esagerare (è sconsigliabile indossarne troppi, troppo vistosi e appariscenti e quelli spiccatamente "da sera")
Probabilmente non capirò mai il ragionamento che porta una persona ad acquistare ed indossare certe uniformi del tutto impersonali, ma credo che un pizzico di femminilità anche nel mondo lavorativo non guasti, non vi pare? :)

I admit I don't have experience in this kind of work environment, but I doubt that this clothing can somehow benefit the image you want to give of yourself and of your professional skills.

Luckily for clothing style to work is much changed: in modern times was introduced a more casual look and, although the days of (presumably well combined) suits have not yet disappeared, personal style and fashion sense are more integrated into the vision of the traditional grey, black or blue.

So if you can't avoid wearing a suit, why not choose it with more feminine shape (beautiful ones inspired of rètro), that enhance the body and maybe try bright colours and that give light to the face?

The important thing is to follow a few simple rules to be sure not to appear inappropriate:

- the skirt must be knee-length, longer would be sloppy, and shorter would be unprofessional.

-The jacket should wear perfectly. Sleeves (if long) must get to cover the start of the hand, the wrist (... but why not try a 3/4 sleeve, much more chic?)

-Modest shoes degrade the whole look, ballerinas don't seem professional, instead heels improve your posture and push your look.

-Is it proper to wear tights

-With jewelry and accessories you can indulge, but without exaggeration ( not wear too many, too showy and flashy and distinctly " for evening")

Probably I will never understand the reasoning that leads a person to purchase and wear certain uniforms so impersonal, but I think a hint of femininity even in a business world couldn't be so bad, isn't it? :)

City girls: something classy

Tutte vorremmo essere considerate donne di classe, ma spesso questa definizione appare piuttosto vaga e dai contorni sfumati, a volte (erroneamente) associata alla ricchezza, qualche volta addirittura contraddittoria, per cui trovare un riferimento da seguire può essere difficile.
Basta guardare ad esempio come si vestivano Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly o Jackie O 'Connor, che anche con gli abiti più modesti apparivano favolose!
E secondo me un minimo di classe per chi vive in città è indispensabile.
Una persona di classe è elegante, sicura, socievole e graziosa, insomma è una persona con cui è piacevole passare il tempo.
Vestirsi con classe significa essere una donna sofisticata, che sa vestire il proprio corpo con abiti che ne lusingano la figura. Una donna di classe indossa sempre qualcosa senza tempo, (da qui la parola "classico", da cui deriva questo termine) ma lo sa portare ed abbinare in modo che appaia super attuale.
Perciò avere a disposizione un certo numero di capi "classici" significa avere la possibilità di combinare praticamente tutto quello che si trova nel guardaroba ed apparire sempre eleganti ed alla moda.
Il segreto per vestirsi con classe, insomma, sta in quello che si indossa e nel come lo si porta! ;)

City girls: something glam

Lo stile glam è uno stile che nasce nell'ambiente musicale degli anni '70 e si è diffuso soprattutto nelle grandi cittá come New York prima, Londra e Parigi (anche se con qualche differenza) poi.
Successivamente questo stile è andato sempre più distaccandosi dal mondo musicale per divenire parte integrante del fashion system.
Il termine glam deriva dal'aggettivo "glamour", ovvero un tipo di abbigliamento colorato, curato e molto appariscente, in cui dettagli ed accessori giocano un ruolo dominante, che negli ultimi anni, in seguito all'importanza che il vintage ha ritrovato, è tornato di moda.
A mio parere questo stile è perfetto per la vita cittadina, soprattutto per le donne che lavorano in ufficio, coniuga stile ed originalità senza essere volgare e dona un'allure così sicura e sofisticata che tira decisamente su il morale, non credete anche voi? :)

Ammettiamolo, vivere in città non sempre implica automaticamente la capacità sapersi vestire con eleganza pur seguendo i trend del momento, anzi probabilmente il gran numero di stimoli delle grandi metropoli non fa che rendere più complicato orientarsi nel mare di possibilità che ci vengono proposte, e questa confusione crea una certa diffusa omologazione, specie nel daily wear.
Essere carine, eleganti e sofisticate nelle "occasioni speciali" è realivamente semplice, ma è nella vita quotidiana che si vede se una ha stile!
In realtà basterebbero bastano pochi semplici accorgimenti per fare la differenza: un risvolto della manica, un accesorio particolare, un'abbinamento di colori che vada oltre il grigio + bianco + nero... insomma serve davvero poco per uscire dall'anonimato, perchè non provarci? ;)

Let's face it, living in big cities do not always automatically implies the know how to dress stylishly and trendy, indeed probably the large number of fashion chances of the big metropolis make it more complicated , seen the sea of possibilities that are proposed, and this creates a certain confusion that widespread approval, especially in daily wear.

Being cute, elegant and stylish in special occasions is pretty simple, but is in everyday life that we see if one has style!

Actually you have to do just few simple steps to make a difference: a cuff on the sleeve, a particular accessory, a combination of colors that go beyond the gray + white + black ... in short, is very little to emerge from, why not try? ;)

Per l'ultimo post sullo stile militare ho scelto un editoriale che ne mettesse in risalto il lato meno rigoroso e "pulito", a dimostrazione di quanto possa risultare versatile questo genere semplicemente in base a come viene abbinato agli altri capi.
Fidatevi, avere nell'armadio un capo Army può rivelarsi una carta vincente incaso di crisi da "non ho niente da mettere"! ;)

For last post on military style I chose an editorial that put out it's less rigorous and "polite" side, a demonstration of how versatile this genre can be, simply based on how you combine it with other pieces of your wardrobe.

Trust me, get in the closet an Army piece may be a trump card in case of "I have nothing to wear" crisis! ;)

Aggiungere un tocco militare ai soliti abbinamenti trovo che sia il modo migliore per ridare vigore ai nostri look in questo periodo dell'anno.
Alla fine dell'inverno, infatti, i trend stagionali sono stati tutti ampiamente sfruttati e un pò per noia, un pò per pigrizia si tende a cadere in outfit di "routine", in attesa delle novità primaverili.
Perciò un capo dallo stile un pò insolito, che dia nuova energia al nostro guardaroba, credo sia l'ideale per rimettere in moto la curiosità e la voglia di giocare con gli abiti, non credete anche voi? ;)

Come ho accennato, il trend military chic ha visto la sua rinascita sulle passerelle delle sfilate autunno/inverno 2010 e sembra aver mantenuto il suo vigore, soprattutto grazie ad un attento restyling.
Anche in questo caso tuttavia il merito maggiore per la diffusione di questa tendenza va attribuito alle celebrities, e stavolta è stata Rachel Bilson a dare il via, da quando è stata avvistata con addosso una giacca militare da ragazzo di Gap.
Successivamete quella giacca è stata vista praticamente ovunque e si può capirne facilmente il perché:Rachel è molto graziosa, femminile ed è piccolina, il che la rende perfetta per questo genere di capi!
Però anche se non siete come lei, questo è uno stile che dona sempre (a piccole dosi) e si accompagna anche abbastanza facilmente a tutti i capi più femminili e di tendenza che avete nell'armadio: pelliccia, pizzo, paillettes, ecc.
Quindi anche se non vi sentite pronte ad andare in giro con una marsina, magari provate a scegliere qualcosa di femminile e accoppiarlo con qualcosa dal sapore militare, vedrete che non rimarrete deluse! ;)

Even in this case however the merit for the spread of this trend is due to celebrities, and this time was Rachel Bilson that firstly stepped out in a Gap boys’ military jacket several months ago.

She’s been seen all over the place in that bad boy and I can see why. It’s precious. Oh, to be that cute and teeny tiny.

This is a style that looks almost always good (in small doses) and accompanies quite easily to all more feminine and trendy pieces you have in the closet: fur, lace, sequins, etc.

So even if you aren’t ready to go all out with a sequin bedecked bod, pick something feminine and pair it with your military find. The contrast will be killer. I promise! ;)

Nello stile militare accessori e gioielli giocano un ruolo fondamentale.
Vista la natura maschile di questo look, si rende necessario "femminilizzarlo" con gioielli luminosi e vivaci: a questo proposito, uno dei sistemi più comuni è l'uso dell'oro o della filigrana d'argento in contrapposizione a pietre colorate o a grandi gioielli appariscenti
I metalli opachi, come quelli con superfici anticate o patinate, e i metalli "misti", inoltre si abbinano molto meglio a capi grigi, blu, kaki e oliva rispetto ai metalli lucidi e brillanti. Catene, filigrana e "intrecci" del genere, quindi, saranno molto più in armonia con questo tipo di abiti rispetto ai gioielli lucidi e lisci.
Un consiglio: state lontano dagli accessori che richiamano l'idea della trincea: gioielli borchiati, stivali da combattimento e tutto ciò che è pesante o maschile dovrebbe essere bandito se non si vuol rischiare di cadere nel cliché "soldato"! ;).

E un augurio speciale alla mia amica MG

(l'avete vista spesso qui nel blog a farmi da modella), che festeggerà il doppio, infatti oggi compie anche gli anni: è nata il giorno di S.Valentino, non è una cosa dolcissima? ^^
Ma bando a rose e cuoricini e torniamo a parlare dell'argomento della settimana: lo stile militare
Questo stile si ispira alle divise militari nei colori e nelle forme: mostrine, verde militare, blu navy, bottoni dorati, stivali da ussaro, sono i suoi tratti distintivi.
Lo stile militare ha avuto nella storia della moda i suoi alti e bassi; popolarissimo soprattutto nei primissimi anni settanta, era più o meno scomparso fino al suo attuale ritorno sostenuto da nomi di prestigio come Louis Vuitton, Dior e Burberry.
Quindi spazio a giacche da parata, da aviatore, capospalla da ufficiale o dal taglio rigoroso, e poi cappelli, guanti ed accessori, sempre in stile militare, da abbinare a gonne a matita, abiti e camicie in seta e tacchi alti dall'allure un pò fetish.
Immancabile il trench, ma in pelle e reso più semplice e svuotato di dettagli, e la new entry: la pelliccia, che si acompagna sorprendentemente bene a questo genere di capi, donandogli glamour e femminilità.

But let leave roses and hearts and return to talk about the topic of the week: military style.

This style is inspired by military uniforms in the colours and shapes: insignia, military green, navy blue, gilt buttons, Hussar boots, are its hallmarks.

Military style in fashion history had its ups and downs; was very popular in the early 1970s, and returns now supported by prestigious brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and Burberry.

Then leave space to parade jackets, Aviator, official outerwear with rigorous cut, and then hats, gloves and accessories in military style, to match with pencil skirts, silk shirts and dresses and high heels.

Dopo la scorsa settimana tutta rosa e romanticismo, ho pensato che per evitarvi il diabete fosse il caso di introdurre un argomento meno zuccheroso: e cos'è meglio dello stile military-chic? ^^
Lo stile che prende ispirazione dalle divise militari è diventato di tendenza fin dall' Autunno Inverno 2010.
Questo è uno stile in grado di arricchire e donare facilmante un aspetto molto più "deciso" a qualsiasi look: in questa stagione oltretutto il trend militare non si è limitato alle famose giacche isprate alle uniformi, ma ha contaminato camicie, gonne, stivali e accessori (emblematica la collezione LV!) così come guanti, cinture e cappelli.
Certamente rimangono le giacche in stile militare a condurre questa tendenza con i dettagli in oro e argento, le spalle strutturate e lo stile elegante e pulito.
Come indossare questo stile?
Gli abiti di ispirazione militare sono così maschili che dovrebbero essere accoppiati con abiti che trasudino femminilità.
Perciò via libera ad abiti leggeri, gonne a matita, jeans skinny e collant: saranno sicuramente le opzioni migliri per accompagnarli! ;)

Per le più fortunate che avranno la possibilità di godersi un viaggetto per S. Valentino (magari non sotto la neve!), è necessario un look romantico ma anche comodo, che possa conciliare cenette in qualche locale carino e visite ai musei: questo editoriale mi è sembrato perfetto per prendere qualche spunto!
Con outfits come questi basta sostituire i tacchi con stivaletti, stringate o ballerine basse per passare tranquillamente dal giorno alla sera ed essere sempre perfette! ;)

Ora che San Valentino è proprio dietro l'angolo, ecco alcune idee di look, per celebrare al meglio il giorno degli innamorati.
Vestirsi carine - poichè probabilmente si passerà parecchio tempo insieme al prorpio lui è importante sentirsi completamente a proprio agio, lontano dal caos e dai problemi quotidiani. Perciò meglio evitare qualcosa di troppo stravagante per San Valentino. Meglio essere se stesse ed indossare qualcosa di carino in base all'occasione che si presenta. Lo so, l'editoriale di oggi è un trionfo di rosa e femminilità, e immagino che qualcuna di voi potrebbe storcere il naso e trovarlo un pò troppo zuccheroso... perdonatemi, ma sapete quanto adoro questo colore, e visto che siamo a S.Valentino, non potevo lascirmi sfuggire l'occasione di pubblicare queste foto! ;)
