Lo Stile Boho 2.0

Sebbene non abbiamo più pensato alla collezione di caftani di Vanesssa Hudgens negli ultimi 15 anni, c'è ancora molto da imparare dalle vecchie icone bohémien come Zoe Kravitz, Kate Moss e le gemelle Olsen, che sono tornate di nuovo in cima alle nostre moodboard come esempi di come cavalcare la moda "free-sprited" nell'era post-paisley print.

Questa volta però non ci precipiteremo a riempire i nostri guardaroba di orecchini di piume e cappelli da sole floppy, ma sulla scia del nuovo trend del lusso rilassato, avremo un approccio leggermente più sobrio allo stile ispirato agli anni '70.

Ci sono meno stampe, una palette di colori più sobria che privilegia i neutri della terra e non c'è bisogno di riferimenti culturali problematici come copricapi particolari e bindis.

Togliendo gli strati di accessori e abbellimenti eccessivi, ecco i must di questa stagione: camicette oversize, maxi gonne leggere, jeans a vita meda/alta, maxi abiti a collo alto e abbondanti capi in pelle scamosciata e cuoio .

Probabilmente, dopo gli ultimi due anni di minimalismo e lusso silenzioso, non vedevamo l'ora di passare un'estate all'insegna dello svolazzamento e di tutto ciò che non è dritto e liscio.

La domanda è: siete d'accordo con il secondo avvento dello stile bohémien?

Di certo non è per tutti.

Ma se le nuove star dimostrano una cosa, è che gli elementi boho-chic possono adattarsi al guardaroba di chiunque.

Ana de Armas ad es. ha abbinato una maxi gonna nera a ruota con una giacca di tweed più strutturata. (e nonostante fosse solo un accenno gridava boho).

È infatti possibile incorporare la tendenza in un look senza cedervi totalmente.

Quindi, non abbiate paura di immergervi almeno in questa tendenza!

La moda deve essere divertente: sperimentate e portate un po' di boho nella vostra vita!

Forse è il momento di rispolverare alcuni dei pezzi boho che avete conservato dai primi anni '00 (borse slouchy, anyone?)

E se proprio non riuscite ad aderire al movimento, non preoccupatevi: ci sarà comunque qualcosa di nuovo e scintillante da provare.

While we haven't thought about Vanesssa Hudgens kaftan collection for the last 15 years, there is still a lot to learn from bohemian icons Zoe Kravitz, Kate Moss and the Olsen twins, who still top of our moodboards as examples of how to channel "free-sprited" fashion in the post-paisley print era.

This time around we might not be rushing to fill our wardrobes with feather earrings and floppy sunhats quite yet, but there's a still lot to love about the newer, elevated approach to laidback luxe, with a slightly more restrained approach to 70s inspired styling.

There are less prints, a stricter colour palette that favours earthy neutrals, and no need for problematic cultural references like headdresses and bindis.

Strip away the layers of over-accessoring and embellisment and underneath you'll find this season's hero buys: oversized blouses, light maxi skirts, high-waisted jeans, billowing, high-necked maxi dresses and plenty of premium suede and leather.

So, after the last two years of minimalism and quiet luxury, we're looking forward to a summer spent leisurely unbuttoned and anything but straight-laced

The question is: Are you on board with the the second coming of bohemian style?

It’s certainly not for everyone.

But if the new crop of stars are showing one thing, it’s that elements of boho-chic can work for just about anyone’s wardrobe.

Ana de Armas paired a swishy black maxi skirt with a more structured tweed jacket. (It was like a hint of boho.)

You can indeed incorporate the trend into a look without totally succumbing to it.

So, don’t be afraid to at least dip your toe into the trend. Fashion is supposed to be fun – experiment and bring a little boho into your life!

Maybe it’s time to dust off some of the boho pieces you kept from the early ’00s (slouchy bags, anyone?)

And if you simply can’t get on board with the movement, don’t worry, there will always be something new and shiny next season.
