OOTD: A Touch Of Olive Green

 Un Tocco Di Verde Oliva

Con la sua tonalità calda e terrosa, il verde oliva è una delle sfumature più facili da sfruttare per questa e la prossima stagione, indipendentemente dal vostro stile. 

Si abbina bene ai neri e ai grigi che generalmente dominano in un guardaroba minimalista, ma per la primavera si abbina bene anche ai gialli burrosi e ai bianchi brillanti per aggiungere un po' di dimensione ai look trans-stagionali.

Questo colore mi ha ispirata a lavorare con una palette di colori naturali che mantiene l’aria solida e versatile, ma più leggera rispetto ai colori che sono tipici dei mesi invernali. 

Infatti, sebbene il trend del rosso abbia offerto un po' di tregua ai cupi toni invernali, era da un pò che avevo iniziato a cercare nuovi colori da incorporare nei miei outfit quotidian. 

E proprio al momento giusto ecco una ripresa della tendenza del verde oliva, sobrio ed elegante ed estremamente versatile.

In a warm, earthy hue, the olive green colour trend is one of the easiest new-season shades to tap into, regardless of your style. 

Wearing well with the blacks and greys that dominate a minimalistic wardrobe, and in it can be styled with buttery yellows and bright whites to add some dimension to transeasonal looks.

I'm newly inspired to work with a natural colour palette that feels a little more grounded and versatile, but lighter lift than the colours you usually wear during winter months. 

Whilst the red colour trend offered some respite here, I've started to find myself looking for new colours to incorporate into my outfits. Right on cue, the seasonal switch is seeing a pickup in the understated and elegant olive green colour trend, and I'm here for it.
