Quando ero bambina, avrei voluto che tutti i miei vestiti fossero pieni di fiocchi, balze e volant. Allora il principio di moda fondamentale per me era: più è lezioso (ovvero: simile ad un vestito della Barbie), meglio è. 

E sebbene senza dubbio ci siano anche delle bambine più ribelli che si rifiutano di vestirsi così, sono piuttosto sicura che la maggior parte delle bimbe die ieri ed oggi vorrebbe solo che la propria mamma le vestissero in questo modo. 

Ma come si trasferiscono volant e balze da un guardaroba da bambina a un guardaroba più maturo e adatto ad un'altra età? 

Ebbene a quanto pare i volant sono davvero versatili (o semplicemente non invecchiano mai?). 

Ed infatti sono tornati di nuovo sotto i riflettori, ed ecco molti splendidi capi decorati con questi dettagli spuntare ovunque. 

Vediamo allora come possiamo indossare i volant senza sembrare infantili, o quantomeno esagerate, e quali pezzi sono effettivamente indossabili (da adulte) nel 2021. 

Tanto per cominciare tenete presente che tutto ciò che può passare dal lavoro al tempo libero ottiene sempre l'approvazione del mondo della moda. 

Pensate ad es. a un top vintage con le ruches: andrà bene per l’ ufficio, eventi eleganti formali o casual. O prendete un top a pois con un girocollo decorato con ruches in stile retrò: è fatto per essere indossato con qualsiasi cosa a vita alta. Pantaloni o gonne, a voi la scelta: assicuratevi solo di indossarlo infilato in un capo a vita alta.

When I was a little girl, I would that every outfits was covered with frills and ruffles. The more girly it is, the better. 

Although I know that there are some little girls who are rebels and refuse to were very girly outfits, for most girls they only want that their moms dress them up.

But how do we transition the ruffles from a toddler-y/girly wardrobe to a more mature wardrobe that is age-appropriate? 

Are ruffles the most versatile or do they simply don´t age?

Ruffles are again back to the spotlight and I can see many gorgeous ruffled pieces popping everywhere. Today let´s examine how can we wear ruffles without looking childish, trying hard or over-the-top, and what pieces are actually wearable (as adults) for 2021.

Anything that can transition from work to play always wins the approval. Suffice it to say that a vintage ruffled top will do well for office attires, formal or casual smart outfits.

A ruffled polka dot top can have a crew neck with ruffles, and retro style, that means that it´s made to be worn with anything high-waisted. Trousers or skirts, the choice is yours. But make sure you wear it tuck in a high-waisted bottom half.
