OOTD: How to Correctly Wear Your Pastels

Il mondo dei colori pastello ha così tanto da offrire, ma deve essere utilizzato bene per evitare di far apparire slavato un look. 

Questi colori fanno pensare a lusso, dolcezza e innocenza. Insomma portano alla mente l'idea di lussuoso pomeriggio soleggiato e spensierato. 

Sono certamente un classico, per così dire senza tempo, e saranno sempre più o meno alla moda. 

Insomma, gli effetti dei colori pastello non sono da ignorare, e riescono a stupire ancora di più se abbinati alle tendenze più interessanti del momento. 

Per apparire al meglio in queste sfumature, però, prima di tutto dobbiamo assicurarci che la sfumatura che abbiamo scelto sia quella giusta.

Vediamo quindi quali sono i colori pastello da preferire a seconda del tono della pelle

• Se avete la pelle chiara: scegliete un bel celeste abbinato a un trucco deciso, soprattutto se avete delle sfumature calde in pelle e capelli. Con i capelli e gli occhi chiari, invece, i colori pastello e neutri dai toni freddi sono preferibili. Il lavanda ad es. appare sempre piuttosto romantico su un tono di pelle chiara, così come in generale le tonalità più delicate di questi colori. Le sfumature più fredde funzionano magnificamente anche con l'arancio chiaro ed il color pesca.
• Se avete la carnagione media: potete godervi una vasta gamma di colori pastello, a partire dal grigio tortora, che è molto in stile per l’inverno, ai gialli burrosi o i verdi menta, oltre a tutta la gamma di deliziosi rosa chiaro che appaiono decisamente sontuosi sulla questa carnagione. Anche i verdi erbosi faranno risaltare le caratteristiche di questo tipo di incarnato ma con un'allure più decisa.
• Se avete la carnagione scura: i gialli pastello risultano incredibili sui toni di pelle scura, poiché il contrasto è perfetto. I viola pastello invece danno calore e dolcezza. La pelle scura con sfumature calde può anche optare per colori pastello fluo. La pelle scura con sfumature fredde, invece, è più camaleontica, potendo passare da colori freddi ai caldi con facilità, in particolare le tonalità più shocking e luminose. I colori pastello ispirati al tramonto sono quelli che funzionano meglio in questo caso.

In generale, il lavanda risulta delizioso sulle tonalità di pelle più fredde, mentre i gialli sono fatti per quelle più calde. Il rosa, tuttavia, è ottimo su praticamente tutte le tonalità della pelle, riscalda il viso e dona una sensazione di felicità. È semplice, luminoso e bello. Best Pastel Colors for Your Skin Tone

• If you are light skinned: Stick to a lovely baby blue paired with strong makeup for the best look, especially if you have warm undertones. With light hair and eyes, pastels and neutrals in cool tones are your friends. Soft lavender looks quite romantic against your skin tone, with light muted hues working beautifully on your coloring. Cooler undertones work beautifully with pale orange and peaches as well.
• If you are medium skinned: Enjoy a wide array of pastel colors, starting with a lovely dove grey, which is so very much in style, buttery yellows or mint greens, as well as lovely light pinks that look positively sumptuous on your coloring. Grassy greens will especially make those features of yours pop out with sudden allure.
• If you are dark skinned: Pastel yellows would look pretty incredible on dark skin tones, as the contrast is just right. Pastel purples also give you warmth while playing with your natural tone. Plus, the color is especially soothing. Dark skin with warm undertones should opt for a fluorescent pastel, such as a bright teal for extra effect. Dark skin with cool undertones, however, is the chameleon, switching between cool and warm coloring with ease, particularly the more shocking, brighter hues. Sunset-inspired pastel colors are the ones that work best for you.
  

In general, lavender looks lovely on cooler skin tones, while yellows are made for the warmer ones. Pink, however, is great on all skin tones, warming up the face and bringing a happy feeling forward. It’s simple, bright and beautiful. Pastel pinks are so very lovely, and have as great an effect as darker or hotter pinks.
